Q: What if you don't have a microwave? Can I heat it in my clothes dryer on a stationary rack?

We do not advise to use anything other than a microwave to heat your Moji Heated Roller. During the development process, we experimented with other ways to heat but our research proved other ways to be inconsistent and not safe. Thank you for asking before you gave it a try.

Q: How do you split it in half? It won't budge.

In addition to the video link we provided, we would like to mention there is a short break in period for our Roller; just like a baseball glove or running shoes. After the Roller is opened a few times it does get easier. Also, the cold winter weather makes splitting the Roller harder. After it has been on a cold delivery truck all day and then on your cold front porch, the Roller latch will be very stiff. We suggest allowing your Roller to be room temperature before attempting to split in half.

Q: I took the roller apart into two. The pieces are too tall for my microwave. Can you heat each piece on its side -- the roller part?

The Moji Heated Roller was designed to stand up in the microwave during heating. That said, we wouldn’t anticipate any problems if you heat the Roller with each piece laying on its side. We recommend being conservative and heating for 2:30 to 2:40 the first time (assuming you are heating both pieces at the same time). Please remember, and as printed on the end cap “To Heat Half the Roller – Heat Half the Time.” Please contact customer support directly if you have any further questions. Happy Rolling!

Q: How long do you need to microwave this?

We recommended the Moji Heated Roller to be placed in the microwave for 3 minutes, NEVER exceeding 3 minutes and 20 seconds. Also, remember to wait 3 hours or more before any reheating.
