Ice Shaver Blade and Spare Replacement Part for Magic Bullet Blender, Mixer, Juicer, Food Processor (Model MB1001)

This is an outstanding value for the money. It is very easy to clean, and the durobility is better than the original manufacturer's product. It works great at pulverizing ice and blending it into a smooth, ice-cold mix of liquid refreshment. It extends the life of my Magic Bullet by years! It has high-quality stainless steel parts, perfect-fitting seals, and works just like an original part...except better. Smoother iced drinks, no more unwelcome chunks of ice (pebbles) that could never break down in the drinks anymore. Powders disappear in cold drinks, I use less ingredients and have better tasting results. Honest! :-) I am absolutely thrilled. Thank you very much for a wonderful product I can highly recommend!!! Don't throw your old original Bullet out...for a very small investment, buy this and improve it! -Mark

Works as advertised.

Pros:-Bought in October so it lasted about 8 months which is nice.- Blended well, mostly frozen stuff and never have a problem with chunksCons:-Dripped random black juice after washing it, which would get everywhere and was super annoying to clean. Even found it's way into a smoothie once-Eventually broke and wish it lasted longerEDIT: Was sent a replacement by the seller without having to reach out to them, thank you!

I like it and it fits perfectly in myMagic bullletmodel 1001. Most importantly it worked.

Worked okay for the first use, not even well, just okay. It struggled to get going when trying to blend the ice in the smoothie, but during the second use, the rubber tips of the gear's teeth broke off and the blender still tried to spin, which melted/wore down the clear plastic gear in the blender base. Some of the liquid even started seeping through the bottom of the base. I had to wipe down the bottom of the blade attachment because there was a bit of the milk from the smoothie mixture, which was 0% blended, mixed with bits of plastic from the broken gears along with a fine rubber/plastic powder coating along the inside of the blender and melted clear plastic from the gears that I had to peel off. Now I have to buy replacements for both the base gear and the blade gear, possibly need to replace this whole blade part. All of this hassle, and I was only able to make a single smoothie using this sub-par product. Extremely frustrating and disappointing.

I read the reviews about the tight fit that some people had noted but ordered it anyway. The fit was indeed tight and got tighter the more it was twisted, but it seemed as though it would would work OK I was not too energetic. So I washed it and, as I was putting it away, I noticed that a white gasket had fallen out. I looked inside the unit, and a gasket was still there. What fell out was a spare gasket. I recalled noting that the white gasket appeared originally to be thicker than the black gasket on my original cross blade set, but I did not give it much thought at the time. Anyway--now the unit fits perfectly on the containers. No more excessive tightness. (Not to mention that I now have a spare gasket.) So---I wonder if this could have been the problem that was reported with some of the units. It certainly was with mine. Caveat: I have not had an opportunity to actually use it to crush ice, so this is not a review of that important function.

When I first got my Magic Bullet I was disappointed that it did a poor job of blending ice in smoothies. When the original blade eventually wore out I went looking for a replacement blade and found this as well. It is so much better for blending ice! Half a cup of juice and a bunch of ice and it will blend a perfectly smooth drink without any lumps of ice left over. It's perfect for anytime you want to blend ice into a drink. I would recommend for anyone with a Magic Bullet.

I am most pleased with my purchase because it has a strong outer plastic band, unlike the replacement one I ordered a couple of years ago which had a ‘weak’ outer band.
