I really love the way it cools down my laptop. In fact, I bought 2, one for my wife and one for me. As soon as they arrived, I connected them to the laptops and from the beginning they kept them quite cool and working better. In the past I had had a similar one, but I think this one is better made. It looks stronger and an additive is the LED lights with different colors. My wife especially loved that part. For me, more than anything, you can have different heights and accommodate the laptop much better. It is not very noisy and sometimes I don't even realize if the fans are on or not.

I use it for my 17" gaming laptop wich fit's fine. It does cool a little bit , just a few degrees (3-7 C) but I noticed it differs sometimes. I measure it with an infrared thermometer It does make some noise but that is normal off course when a fan is turning. It is not loud or anything but yoy will hear it just a bit.For me it's o.k. , and not expensive.

Exactly what was advertised. Build quality is sturdy, looks great and pushes a decent amount of air.Fan noise is minimal throughout the range where 1-2 is barely audible / 3-4 you can hear the fans but shouldn't bother most / 5-6 you can definitely hear the fans ramped up but not too over the top. My setup has this unit in my entertainment stand and at 8-10 feet away I can easily use the entire range in peace. I primarily keep it at two cause I like silence.RGB is a nice touch , but the best feature is that it can be completely disabled if your not in the mood. Front control makes it perfect if your putting it in a cabinet or shelf. The controls illuminate when your toggling the settings and black out after a few moments of inactivity.I haven't tested any thermals as this was only purchased to add some air circulation and help my system last throughout the years.Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase. Now to see how it holds up over the long run!
