BaByliss9000 Cordless Waving Wand - High Heat, Cordless Ease

I have needed something like this. I have fine straight hair and most curlers over curl my hair . I am rubbish at curling my own hair too. I charged this until it went green around 3 hours. Put it on the lowest setting . Sectioned my hair roughly and curled around 8 sections in less than 10 minutes . It was so easy being cordless . I then ran mu fingers through to loosen and this was the exact look I wanted . Loose natural looking waves , although If you want tighter curls I am sure that can be achieved with more sections and holding for longer. I think this is worth every penny it for quick easy styling I am sure I will get lots of use out of this .

Good. Excellent hair results. Long charging time is the only minus.

Great portable hair wand. Works well on dry or damp hair. Charge lasts ages. Lovely magnetic charger lead. Handy zip travel case. Device switches off automatically.

BaByliss 9000 Cordless Waving Wand - High Heat, Cordless EaseI ordered this is a panic, because id discovered I cannot use my Dyson Airwrap in my upcoming trip to vegas and couldn't find a suitable dual voltage hair curler and I need to be able to style my hair for my daughter's wedding. I realised though that if I could find something rechargeable, the issue of voltage differences would be solved. This being Bayliss also, I knew it was a reliable brand.This would have been the answer had I been any good at actually using it. However Ive never been any good with air wands and this is no different. I dont feel I can blame the product for this though.The quality of the product is really very good It has a very high end feel to it, from the second you see the box to taking it out, the case and accessories are all very nice quality. It is clear Babyliss is tapping in to the more luxury end of the market with this range. I hope any teething issues indicates with some of the reviews are ironed out, because I think they all have a lot of promise.I didn't find this too big or cumbersome, but I am used to using a big barrel air brush as well as the air wrap and both of these are hefty items. The only issue I had with this was using it without buying ear or head, fingers were covered with the brush. Im just too cack handed, and can never work out how to hold it and wrap the hair round, which is why air wands have never been for me. Im sure that if you are someone who uses a wand like this, and are quite adept and quick at using one then this is a great tool for you, especially if you are travelling to the US, where it could be the answer to your prayers.So although I have returned mine, I have ordered the version with the brush head on in its place, in the hope that this will be the right product for me to be able to add some curls to my hair for my daughters vegas wedding. I hadn't seen that one initially or that is what I would have ordered.

This really is very impressive from the professional packaging to the design and quality of the Waving Wand itself.My wife and I were instantly aware that this was a luxury product when it arrived. I personally was surprised that it was so long and quite heavy but my wife was impressed with the fact that it was cordless and she could use it wherever she wanted instead of having to sit beside a plug and have a permanent cable getting in her way.I like the fact that the charging cable has a magnetic end piece that instantly and securely attaches to the charging point on the end of the Wand handle. That is a neat idea.I found the charging ring light on the handle is a good size and is bright and easy to see that the Wand is being charged. I was impressed that the light goes through a sequence of flashing red, yellow, green to finally solid green when it is fully charged which does take about four or five hours. And it doesn’t heat up during charging.Once it is charged the single button control on the handle was easy for my wife to use. She just did a few seconds Press/Hold and it switched on. And the first of three small lights beside the button started flashing and when it stops that meant the Wand had heated to the pre-set low heat of 160 degrees.She was able to do quick single touches of the button again to move the heat to 170 and 180 degrees as indicated by that set of small lights beside the ON/OFF button.After a few attempts my wife found it easy to use to wave the ends of her hair even though her hair is not very long and I even used it to wave the back of her hair for her and also found it easy to use and the size and weight were a bonus as it felt secure in my hand and yet easy to use. I like the glove supplied for my left hand that is working nearest the heated wand barrel.My wife says she is able to use it to produce a nice soft natural wave within literally seconds which she considers is fantastic. The kit comes with a beautiful, quality zippered rigid storage/travelling case and as well as that handy glove there is a separate resting heat pad. The instruction booklet is succinct and simple.My impression of the product and more importantly my wife’s opinion of using the product is that this is a luxury Waving Hair Wand that does not disappoint and feels well-made and durable and the price accurately reflects that premium quality.
