I have had 2 of these break on me already.
Cheaply made coils internally keep breaking and snapping under vibration. I bought the first one, had it happen to me and opened it up to see what happened. Then the same happened to the second one.

12 volts MAX
I hooked it up to a belt drive motor and got it up to 30 volts. They're pretty cool, but you wouldn't get much use out of attaching a 12v bulb. Better to attach a rectifier and pwm to run LEDs on a pedal bicycle.

No Good!
Unit stopped working/broke internally during first time using it on my bicycle. The generator initially worked great and I was impressed with how efficient it was in generating electricity for my LED bike light. BUT after about 12 miles of riding my bike the unit stopped working. I am a retired engineer and it's obvious that the problem is internal to the generator.
