A premium-level pre-workout at non-premium prices.
I have tried a ton of different pre-workouts, from old-school stuff like C4 Extreme and no-Xplode to more "premium = $$$" pre-workouts like PreJym and Pre-Kaged, so I know a thing or two about this. Of course, there is no perfect pre-workout for everyone as people have different needs. However, for anyone looking to build strength and do it cost-effectively, this is a great recommendation. For review purposes, I will be reviewing this for effectiveness @ 1 serving scoop and breaking down effectiveness by amount per serving. The first listing from the Supplement Facts label shows a plethora of B-Complex vitamins. These are dosed effectively, but are a tad on the high side, however, this is at safe levels. These are for longer term benefits such as affecting blood cell count, brain and nerve cells, nitric oxide levels, etc. This is a well-thought out listing focused on strength training. The second set of items below are for the actual workout. The selection is pretty great overall and at good dosages for the most part. The listing and their effects:Energy from the Caffeine & TheobromineWorkout recovery from Taurine and Beta-Alanine(This gives the tingles/itch).Focus/mood from L-Tyrosine, L-Theanine, and Huperzine A.The pump/endurance from Agmatine Sulfate & L-Citrulline Malate. This is a great mixture of ingredients and carries most, if not all, you need to have a decent workout. The Cons:- I could make this better, which is add another 3g - 6g of L-Citrulline Malate 2:1 to bring it up to good dosage levels. In this case, you can buy it separate to stack with this pre-workout for a great pump.- I consider this a Pro, but it lacks Creatine. To be honest, everyone should be supplementing this separately as it would not be effective right before a workout(It should be taken hours before exercise rather than the typical 15-30 mins before exercise). Also, the typical dosage of creatine in most pre-workouts is pitiful and it is far cheaper to do supplementing separately and effectively.- While caffeine sits at 300 mg, which is fine for most caffeine-heads, the dosage might prove to be a little too much for some smaller individuals. You can turn down the dosage to 50% to 66% scoop to manage.- Beta-Alanine could be a deterrent for some as they may not like the pre-workout itch and may as well avoid this as well as any product with Beta-Alanine.I have been experimenting with different hyped supplements, finding the common items, and, eventually, know what works for me. Most premium pre-workout have a lot of nice-to-haves with little to no tangible benefit like.... coconut water powder and over-hyped ingredients that promise the biggest pumps and the fastest path to muscle growth. These ingredients are practically battle-tested and backed by research, except for maybe Huperzine A. Overall, this is a great product and I was able to get on it as soon as my PreKaged pre-workout ran out, without missing a beat at the Iron Church, at phenomenal pricing/serving.

Full doses, no junk, meh taste
It was way more difficult than it should be to find a pre-workout with full doses of beta alanine and citrulline malate. Most other pre-workout in this price range are half dose of those but a full dose of caffeine which means I'd have to take 2 scoops and be jittery and then crash later. This pre-workout is an absolute steal, all the stuff you want, none of the proprietary junk, amazing price. The only 2 downsides are the flavor and mixing. Very chemically taste for the blue raspberry and even with lots of shaking it stays a little chalky and leaves residue behind. I don't really care that much as I really just mix it quick, pound it down, then get to my workout. Would definitely recommend if you like the beta alanine tingles but don't want to overload on the caffeine.

Best pre-workout you can buy
Seriously, the ingredients in this pre are miles ahead of any other I’ve ever seen. I’ve been lifting for 15years and this combination is perfect. Most nootropic supplements don’t even have the huperzine or theanine contents of this gem, let alone at this price point. Do yourself a favor and ditch all the hyped up pre workouts with flashy names and basic ingredients. I will continue to buy this for as long as it is produced.

DO NOT BUY…… Stomach Ache and Vomiting
I’ve tried dozens of different preworkout supplements over the years and was drawn to this one because of its ingredient ratios and price point. This is the only supplement to ever make me physically sick every time I took it. I tried it 3 separate times, back to back days and then again two weeks later (I revisited it because I thought my stomach troubles might have been unrelated). Each time I completed my workout (with only a slightly upset stomach) but in the hours following my workout became physically sick with severe stomach aches and vomiting (last time) or near vomiting (first two times). I have been lifting and taking supplements from to to time for nearly 15 years and this is the only one that has ever caused this reaction. While the ingredient ratio seems promising, there is something in this product that is clearly not appropriate for human consumption. Unfortunately, I purchased the 60 serving package because of the value but ending up having to throw away 57 servings. $40 of hard earned money down the drain.

Doesn't dissolve, taste is not great, but works
I liked the cost per serving. I got the 60 servings of blue for $38 which is .63/serving. On the downside, the scoop is huge and it will settle to the bottom if you don't drink right after shaking and tastes a little like medicine. It also makes your face and ears tingle. I diluted 1 scoop into 18oz of water which is double the water directed and I wouldn't want to drink it more concentrated than that. Like others, I felt a bit nauseous after my run but I will take it again.Overall, I would rather take Hyde because it has better taste, dissolves, and has creatine at the same price point. Not the worst, but not buying again. The pic posted is of 1 scoop in 18oz of water, 1 minute after shaking vigorously and you can see it settled to the bottom.Edit: The first time you take it, after a day or so, you will poop your brains out. It is like taking flax for the first time.
