CloverTriangle Tailors Chalk White

I have been kicking myself every since I purchased this chalk because I should have done it years ago. I am very short and need to hem everything. I usually use a dark marker to measure my lines but then have trouble seeing them. I just hemmed 4 pairs of pants that I have been putting off for months because its so hard to see the lines. I think I had these pants done in half the time. I would tell anyone that it is well worth it to purchase this product.

The chalk is not powdery and works well on most colors, obviously lighter colors harder to see. It doesn't rub away much on the cotton I tried which is nice but does remove with water.Like many others mine broke in transit being shipped with a memory phone mattress. But the pieces are big enough they are usable and will likely fit nicely in a small sewing kit. I can't necessarily blame the product but perhaps clover needs a stronger box they put it in.

I'm a new sewer, and this was to be my first chalk. It arrived in a paper mailer, broken in pieces and unusable. I'm so disappointed.

The individual pieces work fine. I would have preferred a single piece, but I realize it’s a difficult item to ship. Maybe a box with some crumpled paper as opposed to an envelope in the mail.

Was nervous to open it at first because I read reviews after I placed to order (for some odd reason) and saw that many customers received the chalk in broken bits. I was lucky enough to receive mine in one piece and I think it’s better than I had expected. The chalk fits nicely in my hand and shows well on fabric.

Arrived in one piece. Great piece of tailors chalk to use for altering seams and hems etc. A good necessity to have in your sewing box.

The product came broken in half because it was packaged in a cardboard envelope, thats a bad choice. What makes this annoying is that there is no way to claim to Amazon, I get in a loop that gets me nowhere.Other than that, its chalk, nothing special to it.
