I love the Portugese Knitting method, but the pins frequently stab me. I've solved the problem by putting rubber or silicone earring stoppers on the tip of the pin & am now knitting happily & jab-free!

I love using these simple pins for Portuguese knitting. That makes my hands happy and with enough practice, it gets even faster. The only thing about the pins is the part that has to poke through your clothing. It could stand to be sharper so it doesn't almost be forced through. Another problem is me....I want to buy them by the dozens!! They get left on clothing...which top? Where is it? They don't have a GPS built in them. Still, way better than fancy pins that have all kinds of crystals all over. Get these!

These pins are excellent for Portuguese knitting with one caveat....the tips of the pins aren't sharp enough so they don't slip through fabric easily. I would have given them a five star rating except I needed to punch a hole in my shirt to get them on. Once I washed the shirt, it was obvious that the "hole" was only a parting of the threads since I could not find the place where I'd had the pin, but I'd rather have a sharp pin like a safety pin.

I actually have been using these for a while. Unfortunately I didn't think to bring them on my trip. Worth the money to save wear & tear on my wrist & I'm sure I'll use them when I get back

I wanted to learn a "new way" to yarn - now that I am a Senior - so I am trying these out and I must admit I am enjoying them!!!

Tool needed for Portuguese Knitting, functional.

No complaints. After trying several homemade things, this did exactly what it was supposed to do.
