The hardware is made of stainless steel. I have used it for more than a month, and the chair has been drenched in the rain several times, but nothing has changed。The quality is very good. It should be used for many years.

Yes, they are extremely heavy and sturdy. We've had our set of 4 outside for the last few weeks. We had high winds for a few days last week. The chairs did not even tip over, let alone blow away. They are very well made. You shouldn't have to worry.

I would think hot glue would work
