I've been taking vitamins for my hair and nails for over a year now, with varying degrees of success. The pros for this vitamin are the small size, number of vitamins, and that there's no aftertaste. The negative, which can be overcome, is that they don't seem to work as well as other vitamins I've tried. I recently saw a review that stated that these vitamins come in 2 strengths and that this one is on the lower end, so I decided to double the dosage. I'm now getting even better results than I've gotten with other products. My nails are growing faster and are much stronger. My hair is thicker and I'm not getting the breakage I was seeing before I started doubling the dose. I'm not going to recommend that others double the dose, but I'm pleased with the results.

I keep re-ordering these Biotin capsules, as I see a big difference in both stronger nails and better hair. My hair was starting to thin, and taking this daily has really helped.

I recently learned that you must be very careful when taking multiple supplements daily. So many supplements today contain other vitamins and minerals. When taking multiple supplements which contain more than just the vitamin and or mineral you are trying to add to your regimen, you may be getting too much of certain vitamins and/or minerals. I was actually experiencing some health issues from "too much of a good thing." Since hair loss has been an issue for me since the pandemic, I was glad to find this Biotin which does NOT contain other ingredients. It is just Biotin and just what I need. I have noticed an improvement in my hair loss and even some regrowth. And, I know I am not taking more of other supplements I am already taking. The formula is perfect for my needs!

Amazon sells a lot of different brands of Biotin. Dosages are usually 5000mcg or 10000mcg. This brand is 5000mcg, so you need to swallow 2 pills if you want the 10000mcg dosage. These pills are easy enough to swallow. Price is a very high 12 cents per 5000mcg pill, while some other brands that Amazon sells are 6 cents per 10000mcg pill (1/4 the price per mcg). These pills are advertised as made in the USA while many of the cheaper pills say "manufactured in an FDA registered facility" without saying where that facility is located, so some people may be willing to pay the higher price for "made in the USA".

I just started a new daily multivitamin that unfortunately did not include biotin so I decided to pick this one up to add in with it. This provides a massive daily dose of biotin which I'm already starting to see benefits from. My hair grows so much faster and my nails seem stronger as well. This is a really easy to swallow capsule and it has no taste.

I tried this biotin because I could use the support for my hair, skin and nails. I really like the small capsules. I take one capsule daily and the bottle comes with 120 servings so it is a great deal! I like the minimum ingredients shown with no added sugar, salt etc. I think my hair and skin are looking smoother along with my nails growing faster and stronger. I realize this will take awhile before seeing major results but I wanted to go ahead and review what I like about it so far. I do recommend this product as it is a great value.

I don't have any reservations about the biotin's quality. On the other hand, each pill of my current name brand Biotin supplement has 10,000mcg. It not only contains twice as much Biotin per capsule as this product, but it also has 240 capsules, which is twice as much. The name brand costs $13.50 whereas this supplement costs $14.95 at the time of purchase. This is an expensive Biotin option when you consider the cost, the amount of Biotin each capsule, and the total number of pills.
