Beautiful Yarn
I bought this yarn to make a baby blanket for an orange and sage green nursery. I had never used it before but it was recommended to me by a fellow crocheter. It has alpaca in it but it doesn’t shed. It’s easy to crochet with, it doesn’t split and the colors are vibrant. Amazon offered a good price and it arrived in two days. I highly recommend.

My favorite yarn!!
This yarn is an absolute dream to work with. I had intended to use it for a shawl, but I'm likely to make a cardigan instead. The yarn is evenly spun, a little thicker than sport weight but not quite a 3, the colors a vibrant and transition smoothly. Fabulous product!!

So so so soft!
Used to repair my favorite alpaca gloves - went perfectly and now using the rest for a scarf to match. Very very soft!

Lovely lightweight yarn, but a bit splitty
Overall, a good quality yarn. The color changes are well done, and unlike some marled color changing yarns, I found this to have very unobtrusive knots where the colors are joined in. The long color changes are ideal for making blankets or shawls, since there are not abrupt and blocky transitions. It is lightweight and surprisingly warm, and has an amazing drape, perfect for shawls. Also, the acrylic/alpaca ratio is such that you will see good stitch definition. Enough yardage for a very large triangle shawl (I used a 4 mm/G hook and ended up with a shawl about 80 inches wide by 34 inches deep).Cons: the strands are not tightly spun individually, and the alpaca fibers tend to "halo" out, so you may find this a bit splitty to work with. It helps to work with the crochet hook tilted upward a bit more. It is soft yarn, but it is a tiny bit scratchy as well. Not a problem for me, but I wouldn't recommend for people with sensory issues. One 20-yard strand in one cake was noticeably thinner-- about lace weight-- but this was the only inconsistency and was easily worked around.

Lovely, soft, a wonderful experience
It looks any other large ombre cake, but only until you touch it. It is a thin strand, but not weak or stringy feeling. It is easy to work with, and it feels so nice in my hands.

This yarn makes a stunning shawl!
This is my first project using Yarnart Flowers Alpaca, and I love it. This is crocheted with a 5mm hook. The yarn is very soft, and a little bit fuzzy, but it's easy to see your stitches. I was pleased with how nice it was to work with. Quick shipping, and decent price.

Love this yarn
Just wish it wasn't so expensive. I need another cake to finish this poncho and I can't bring myself to buy again.
