In the middle of a heat wave my AC decided to crap out, but a few minutes on the internet helped me diagnose the issue. Save my self big $$ by ordering this myself. Came quickly, install of these is beyond simple! If you can attach two wires you can do this yourself

So a little while back my father's capacitor went out and they were without A/C for almost three days as it was a holiday weekend. I let them borrow my portable A/C united but I decided that I would never put my family through that. I opened up my A/C United wrote down all the capacitors I needed and purchased them. Turned out that it was a very good idea. Summer I strains them a lot and the one this replaced went. I was down for only about 30 minutes(mostly me figuring out the unit wasn't running outside). I'm incredibly happy I spent the money. Yes they may never blow but when they do it always seems like its about 100 degrees out and when you have a young infant, a 3 year old, and your wife you don't want to put them through it and they didn't have to go through it.

This is an identical OE replacement for my Trane 5 ton condensing unit. I'm hoping to get another 10+ years out of this one! It may be more expensive than the other brands, but overall a rounding error compared to the entire system maintenance cost.
