They are not lumpy, they are really comfortable for the first week or so then they start to go flat and uncomfortable, that could just be my experience with them because of the way we sleep, or we got defective Pillows who knows. Mine went in the bin after 5 weeks. Hope this helps, or you have a better experience with them.
