An improvement on the first generation, but you need to let them burn in first!
When you first install them yes they do look yellow (as many people have commented), but they improve significantly after 15-20 hours of use. Sadly Osram do not state this on the packaging as far as I can see so the confusion isn’t surprising. I’d say they’re a definite improvement on the first generation and would recommend them, you just need to give them time to burn in.

Meehhhh expensive for what it was.
Unsure on this, i personally could'nt see any difference but my partner did (better,brighter) can't really comment on longevity as only had them for a short time. Expensive for what it gave though

Poor colour temperature
Bought this next generation to replace my old bulb which is the first generation. The second gen should be better than the first gen in terms of colour temperature and brightness. However, it is very disappointing to see than gen 2 is even more yellow compared to gen 1 (see attached). It claims gen 2 should have 6200k but when comparing with my gen 1 bulb which should be around 6000k, it is very yellow. I am also not convinced by “150%” brightness shown on the box as it is more or less same as my old gen 1 bulb. Very disappointing as all my cars use Osram but this new one doesn’t perform what it says on the tin.

Clarity with depth
Purchased these bulbs to replace the older clue blue intense. Visually they give a much nice appearance and practicality wise this is a much white, brighter light. The intensity of the light output produces a more widespread area of light. Much better coverage and a very well worthwhile product. Pricey but well worth it.

The box came with the seal broke, i just hope they are genuine and they will work and last as long they should do...
