Easy to apply to rug. I have a 5x7 area rug over my living room carpet. Was constantly sliding and became a hazard ! I researched for a product to work holding area rug to carpet vs flooring. I came across this tape and it was reasonably priced, in my opinion. Area rug is staying in place! I only used the tape down the long side of the area rug edges- from top to bottom. So far, fantastic! Its a high traffic area as my front door opens into the livingroom and a place my dog likes to have his "zoomies" .

This tape is SUPER sticky and VERY strong which makes it great for holding the carpet down, but I will say it is kind of difficult to cut because of how sticky it is. Left a pretty sticky residue on my scissors.

Rug tape worked great for my toilet u shape rug. I loved feel of my feet staying warm while I sit there but it would always move around as backing allowed for some slippage. I got annoyed because I would get it put in position and next time it would be scooted way too much one way or the other. Saw this tape on Amazon and it did the trick and easy to use. Priced fairly as well. Stickiness good but easy to work with.

perfect. I tried those little sticker things that you put in the corners underneath the carpet.. and they usually work fine for the bathroom floors, but I needed something for my area rug in my carpeted room. I tried the stickers but just ended up ruining them bc they didn’t hold the rug at all. First I just did the corners with thus, but that wasn’t enough, mainly bc I use this rug quite often when i’m working at home and it’s been challenging to get it to stop bunching up and moving. Drives me insane. Anyway so I ended up doing like 7 or 8 long rows the length of the rug spaced an inch or two apart.. so it’s essentially completely taped and it hasn’t moved the tiniest bit !! I had to slightly alter a few places and lifting this from the carpet was not easy.. this was stuck !! but in a good way !! 🤣I will keep this on hand prob for the rest of my life.. not sure if all brands of this style tape are this good or if this brand is just goat. not sure but I will buy more when I need it. Most people it might last forever but I have this thing with vacuuming 🤣and I haven’t tried the rug yet since I taped it bc the vacuum is like an industrial grade so it’s super powerful and sucks up everything even too much so i’ve been scared. So I may have to redo this every time I vacuum it not sure yet. Best purchase in a minute.

Quick shipping, but the product is extremely difficult to use! Just getting the backing off of each side is so hard that the tape wrinkles, folds, and sticks to itself, making it unusable. Had to use very short pieces because longer ones tangled so easily. All in all, not a great product and will not buy again.

Used for stair treads. Great and staying put! Been a month somewhat hard to use because so sticky but you will figure it out. So far so good

I just got the tape today after another brand didn’t work. This was super easy to use and has done the job!! I needed it for a doorway from carpet to ceramic tile. My mom is in a wheelchair and it’s pulling the carpet up in the doorway. I bought a rug and taped it down on both sides of the doorway. It works like a charm and is stuck like glue. I am very pleased.
