AC Unit Thermostat PFA-606S for Carrier Air Conditioner Conditioning System Thermostat Temperature Cool Control

Was not an exact fit but close enough to make it work, had to make adjustments but overall works better than the old one for my RV AC.

I used this thermostat on my RV bedroom AC unit. After I got it installed my AC unit works perfectly!

The old crusty thermostat I had to flick every time it was too hot or cold. This new one, I had to drill wider holes in the mounting plate, and also bend the contacts up to clear the side of the enclosure. But regulates the temperature very well.

I've got a 25 yr old Kenmore Window A/C. The replacement thermostat for this unit is $99 but is nowhere to be found. So I got the idea to buy another brand of thermostat and give it a try. The PFA-6065 is perfect! Although the mounting holes are a little different I made some modifications and now it fits perfectly. But what I like is the operation of the thermostat. It is absolutely perfect! So I spent a total of $15.14 on this thermostat and it saved me well over $700 for a new unit! Sweet!!

I couldn't find the exact thermostat anywhere, so I ordered the Carrier part. The mounting holes didn't line up but I was able to wedge it in place with a small piece of wood. I now have a functioning AC unit!
