Works great.
Difficult to manually program. However, with the use of the app called "CHIRP", programing is easy. Works great..

TYT needs to do a better job on quality control.
I purchased the TYT 9000D 220MHZ had no problems at all. Easy to program and does what it is supposed to do. The TYT 9000D 440MHZ was a different story. The first one started smoking at low power and the display went blank. Power supply voltage was good and the antenna with low SWR was solid. Sent it back and ordered another one. The second one had a slight burnt smell out of the packaging. It appeared to be factory sealed. Would only transmit 1 watt of power and any power setting. Another return and not willing to order a 3rd unit. Will not be purchasing any more TYT products. Maybe just a bad production run???

Why wrong software?
Radio seems to work well...But why the wrong programming software? I have ordered 4 radios and everyone has the wrong software for programming...Terrible...

Doesn't output the advertised power
I've bought this radio, the UHF version of the TYT TH-9000D Plus. It is advertised as putting out 45 watts on high power. I tested it with 3 different meters and I have the same results. I bought a second one after the seller told me that the one I bought might be defective. That one ALSO only puts out 25 watts. I think this is really just a 25 watt radio, not 40 watts as advertised.

Not great
I have gone through 2 of these radios. Don’t buy if you are looking for an Alinco clone and want to use it with the Rim board. Big audio issues.

Junk
Everything, it physically shows it going to the 130-140 frequencies but the unit will not go there, there is absolutely no customer support, look on their website and it says that there’s no data for support. Their number Amazon gave me was +86595227770858 is a joke as well. Just don’t fall for what I did
