Update Review
I used my Longhorn Offset Smoker this past weekend and I was using regular charcoal to fire the smoker, my target temperature was 275 degrees, as you can see in the picture the heat resistant that was applied at the factory started smoking at first then it started to blister and peal. Now I have to buy a can of (real heat-resistant paint). Really disappointed.

Warped!!!
Warped right out of the box. Was putting it together and noticed the firebox was slumped down with gaps in front and back. Smoke stack was cocked. I sent it back and was sent another one in worse condition and ended up taking it to a welder to fix it and then sold it. Spend a little more money and get a small Johnson Smoker!!!

It looked like it had been sitting away for a long time ...
It looked like it had been sitting away for a long time because it had some rust spots on it but I know how to fix that. Overall the packaging was questionable but it is still a very good grill and I would buy one again just want to see the box first!!

Love my Okie!
Easy to put together, good quality. Some minor alterations to keep the smoke/heat in where there are connections. Would be great if they included rope gasket to rectify the connection sites. Love my okie!

Garbage quality control
The build was easy but the quality control sucks. Look at the pics. The welds are sloppy and look horrible. Check out the way the lid seals on the barrel …it doesn’t. I expect some leakage but I didn’t expect the lid to not sit flush with the barrel. Is sits on the outer part of the barrel! Had I know it was gonna be this bad I would have ordered a different brand. Problem is the packaging is all ripped up and gonna be a pain to return… I’m going to have the shave off some metal from the lid so it fits in the slot correctly. Look for another brand. Your already paying 600.00+ might as well step up a little more and get something with a good build quality or at least some quality control for Pete’s sake!

Do your homework.
I have a welding shop so I made this much better than it came. The tube for the stack was welded in crooked & had a 1/4” gap from part to part. The gaps on the fire box had 1/8” opening after I bolted it together. When the lids were press bent they were crinkled. I took those off & fixed them & welded all of the joints. Including the stack. Don’t count on your paint staying on after the 1st fire. I put a few hours into grinding & rewearing the crappy factory welds.
