Poor quality tacks
Defo not 50 tacks in the pack and some were so soft they bent when being hit by a hammer. Poor quality. Had to go to B&q to get new ones to do the job properly

As the rug lies on top of the carpet, then on top of the underlay, I chose the 25 mm (roughly 1 inch) size to penetrate through to the floor boards.
