Decora Light Switch Extender for Children - 2 Pack

This is a pretty clever product. It was easy to install. I appreciate it's function and that it's relatively discrete. It's been a game changer for our toddler! However, one of the lights still requires a tiny step for them to be able to reach the extender.

I love this product! My husband was not thrilled I spent $10 on this BUT he’s not home all day with a toddler and a newborn. My 2 yo daughter is pretty short but very independent. She is already potty trained and this allows her to go to the bathroom or go into her bedroom and turn the lights on without me. Since I’ve been occupied nursing the baby over the last few months I can’t always jump up and help her. Plus she was just starting to get scared of walking into a dark room, so this allows her to continue to be independent when she needs something.A few people have complained about the hinge on the switch but for our bathroom it serves a purpose. If it didn’t hinge slightly it wouldn’t work. For her bedroom she has never had an issue with the hinge hindering her from turning the lights on or off.I also had both installed in less than 10 minutes. It was super easy. I would recommend this product to family or friends if they were looking for something for their littles!

My toddler has been gaining a lot more independence and this was surprisingly a great add to his routine! He doesn’t overuse it, it’s been sturdy this far, and it’s easy to install & use. I’d recommend this if you’re looking for an easy way to involve your kid more with things out of reach.

I was pleasantly surprised with this. It was very easy to install and it functions great. Fit my light switch perfectly. The smaller kids are now able to turn the light on and off with ease. Sometimes it also turns on the fan since the fan switch is located below the light switch but overall I am really happy I found this neat little switch extender. Great price for a double pack!

I was hesitant to buy these because of the reviews and the feedback regarding the fact that the arm swivels, but I couldn't find any other solutions for the rocker switches in my house, so I gave them a try.They couldn't be easier to install. They're not necessarily attractive, but anyone that sees them knows they're for little ones and function is more important. I like that they fit over the existing faceplate, so they'll be easy to remove also.Second, my grandson (not quite 3) had no trouble with them at all. I put one in his bathroom and one in his bedroom at my home. The first time one of them swiveled and he couldn't make it work, I showed him how to pull the extension arm straight down first, and to push straight up. Never had to show him again, and he can now turn the lights on and off with ease.This was an easy, inexpensive solution to my problem, and I'd recommend!

This is fantastic! Adjusts well for our oddly placed light switch. Our toddler loves the independence of being able to turn the lights on herself in the bathroom.

Overall this switch extender did the job and allowed our children to access the light switch. It is not a huge deal more just an visual the plate does not fit flush to the wall. It does take a minute to adjust to the toggle if an adult is turning on the switch.

My toddler was very independent early on, and insisted on turning on lights in any room we went into. These are so user friendly and easy to install.
