Microsoft Modern USB Speaker

This is a very good speaker / mic for me working from home in a small office. I have even taken into the office and used in a medium meeting room with 7 people and it worked fine for those in the room and those remote. Yes you will get better devices out there but for this money I dont think you will find better.

Overall it's a nic ecompact design, and the speaker sound quality is good, with a reasonable amount of bass.I was really liking using this, but then a few people told me I was causing lots of echo to their voice in ME Teams, which is not something I had a problem with previously when I used a cheap USB speaker and separate USB mic. So I guess having the speaker and mic in the same unit is the problem here. Maybe they are relying on the built-in echo cancellation in MS Teams, and for some reason it doesn't work well with Microsoft's own speakerphone product made specifically for use in Teams! Maybe they will fix it with a software update, but for now I basically can't use this, so three stars from me.Also, the USB C cable could do with being a bit longer in my view; it's quite short.

The audio was muffled for both my side and the caller side. Very poor.

Doesn't work too well with teams as there is an echo to others listening to me.Finally at the point of buying something else.I guess from microsoft you expect the best compatibility.. but clearly not

Excellent product, sound quality is brilliant for a small speaker. Very handy bit of tech...bought for my brother but would definitely buy for myself (if I needed one 😂)
