Adorable and sturdy. Crisp and clean looking. Perfect for my granddaughters room. I will say that it doesn’t close unless stuff is out of the way inside and can be confusing for littles. I just reach and move the item (crayon box or whatever) to the side for her. Would buy the same one again. My husband even sat in the chair and he’s 200+ lbs. Not saying he should continue to push the limits, though.

This is a super cute desk and works perfectly in my sons room. The desk went together super easily. The chair was another story. One side of the chair would not align properly with the base. My husband and I both struggled with it. My husband eventually got it together, but ended up cracking part of the seat of the chair in the process. The damage is only cosmetic and the chair is still safe and sturdy.

Great little desk, I know it will last for years. Simple and functional.I would give it five stars, HOWEVER, it is a nightmare to assemble. I had 15 minutes to kill and based on the instructions, figured I could put it together very quickly, 10 minutes tops. It took me a FULL hour and lots of expletives shouted in frustration. The hydraulic mechanism that holds the desktop open gets directly in the way of getting a drill or handheld screw driver into a place you can get the screws in. I had to remove it (easy enough, but should be a step in the instructions). The other major difficulty was that the bolt tips are coated to prevent them from loosening in the future, but that meant the bolts were so difficult to drive into the holes that it stopped the bolt heads. I still have one bolt inside the desk that is only 1/4 of the way in and the bolt head is almost completely stripped. Really annoyed, wishing the bolts didn’t have the coating on them. But it’s together. Just need to find an uncoated bolt that fits in the one that is not in all the way.

It's the right size for my 4yr old kid and strong enough to handle his weight. It took only 30 mins to assemble all the things, it was very easy.

It is not the biggest desk but it’s very well made. My son is 5 and he fits just fine in it. Already well loved and colored on!
