Good quality and just what we needed

Crimper works fine. Built three cables today without issue. The knockoff Anderson powerpoles included, connect to real Anderson powerpoles without issue. If you need a cheaper solution for these connectors, this is it.

You don't absolutely need a proper crimper to put Anderson Power Poles on a wire, but it sure makes the job easier, quicker and less frustrating. As soon as I got my crimper I put two pairs of 45 w connecters on my new radio power supply. It took less than half the time it would have taken to do one connector.

I've never used powerpoles before but after a quick youtube watch on how to crimp them, I was off to the races. This set got me all set with connectors and the crimp tool. Recommend 100%.

Radio to power supply pigtails

This crimper works great for Anderson PowerPole 15/30/40 amp contacts. I had a little difficulty with non-Anderson PowerPole contacts. Some of these 40 amp are wider at the contact tip and have trouble fitting the tool. The tool locked up on one of these contacts. I was able to release with the lever and there was no damage to the tool. I highly recommend this tool.

And this is a good set of connectors that gives me a few options for different wire sizes. The products are good quality and allowed me to easily connect my radio equipment to a power supply.

Something to identify the pieces and parts and a small diagram showing how to properly use the crimp tool would have been appreciated.
