Farming Simulator 17 - PC

As a real-life farmer sometimes after a hard day of working, the best relaxation would be for me to pull out Farming Simulator. (Crazy, I know) After recently joining the Farming Simulator family by first getting Farming Simulator 15, I can say that this game is a incredible improvement.The experiences are close to realistic with some disappointments but that is to be expected. Farming Simulator 17 definitely shows it is European influenced in the style of a multitude of non-American brands and the field styles are incredibly small and flat. Unlike most of American farms which are massive and challenging. If you would like to get a taste of what the backbone of a nation's workers have to do. Then I would recommend you get this game.I would like to add, like all Farming Simulator games, this one has again tremendous Mod Support. In-fact it has integrated into the game main menu so you can see mods that Giants added and carefully selected user-submitted mods. Thanks to that mod menu, I now have a John Deere 9630.

Awesome game! Been playing it for hours ever since i bought it last week. So many different ways to make money, always keeps me entertained. Would highly recommend it. Some might say there are not enough of one brand tractor, or another, however, that is due to getting permission to use them from the companies who make them, and more are being added as that permission is granted, (they pay the company for the rights to use their likeness). And the gaming community has come up with all kinds of mods to add more content free of charge.

A farmers game but has several program anomalies which frustrate gameplay. For example, you can hire helpers, but they cant plow, plant or harvest any field that isn't exactly square. At times the helpers you hire, just stop working in the middle of the assigned task (I know just like in real life, but isn't suppose to happen in the game according to Giant). Downloads or updates take several attempts to acquire or just stop in the middle of the download ( and yes we have modern computers and high-speed access).

I've installed it twice now and it will not start and run for me, it starts to load then blinks out then goes blank to my desktop. My PC is a brand-new window 10 MSI gaming computer.I had this game on over the years on 3 different computers. with no problems.

I have to say for the price it was well worth it I was hoping that it would be a bit cheaper but I trust amazon so I got it My son plays this all the time he loves being on the farm I have to say I watch him play it I am blown away because he really does love it I am very happy with the purchase that I made he has farming sim 15 and he loves this better

First and foremost this is an awesome game if u have a high quality graphics card and high end pc. Also, unless you choose to devote yourself to a lot of hours, you wont make much money and get bored.Bought this back in january nd cant quit playing it. Playing it on easy but changed all settings to run on hard. Only difference is the dollar amount you get for you selling your crops.Pros: great graphicsLot of different machines to use.Hours of playing time.Lots of trees to harvest and forestry areas if you prefer logging.Many different mods can be downloaded to make playing the game easier. I.e. logging trailer.Cons: extremely addictive. Sleep is thing of the past.Dont use a money mod or edit the xml file to give yourself millions. You will get bored after seeding your fields waiting to harvest. Did this before and now playing it normally.Missions only give you field jobs. No forrestry missions.Songs on game are not good. You can make your own radio stations but difficult. Wish giants would incorporate pandora radio in the game.There are animals you can breed but can be difficult.All in all this game will give you endless hours if you play it without cheating.

My 9 year old was so looking forward to this game. We pre-ordered months ago for his birthday. It arrived yesterday and it will not work with the computer we have. Partially my fault yes. But who the heck has a gaming computer for a 9 year old. I looked at stores to purchase the necessary equipment that I need in order for this darn disc to run and it would cost me $100's of dollars. Very sad that your standard desktop computer will not work for this PC game. Obviously if I am just dumb and you have more compute knowledge please feel free to share!

Fantastic game! Cheaper for PC than it was for PS4 and you can use way more mods on PC. The only con I have for this game is that the crop prices at the selling points are only about half what they were in the previous games so it will take you much longer to get that shiny new tractor or combine you've been saving up for. Not sure why Giants did this but other than that I love this game!
