Pros:Its Carhartt, so its made durable. (If you’re like me you need durable, brittle things dont last for me)Its great for work and students. I can throw few note books, sketchbooks, plenty of space of pens, pencils, chargers, a hoodie, water, etc.Its waterproof, sturdy material feel.Good for a day or two short travel for light travelers across states.Cons:There is only one space with big zipper for bigger space, so you have put everything there. It has a thin divider but maybe couple small notebooks can go in there.I wish there was a small compartment with a zipper within the big space.It has a space for laptop in the back secure with a zipper but my 15” laptop does not fit in there, I dont want to force it to ruin the laptop or the backpack.Overall: I am happy with it, its a guy backpack , all business no drama. Idk I like simple things. I’d recommend to office people, students and light travelers.

Purchased as a gift to my son. He says it is awesome and really likes the weather resistant material.

I really like everything about this backpack. It seems to be tough enough and has pockets for everything I want to carry. It’s easy to travel with and get a laptop out of for airport security. If there were to be anything I’d say I don’t care for (and it applies to all backpacks) is it would be extremely easy for someone to unzip the laptop zipper and steal whatever is in it. That being said, when traveling I put my laptop inside the main compartment and keep the pack in front of me. It’s not a big deal but just something I thought of to pass along as a slight downside for travelers. Anyone who travels, especially internationally, understands these things or will if they don’t yet.Overall though…excellent purchase and I expect years of service ahead.

Not a big bag, I would say it’s a medium size bag for me (I’m 5”11). It will look small if you are a bigger guy.This is the 2nd generation, the laptop compartment is on the side with zippers, good for quick and easy access, it barely fits a 16 inch 2019 MacBook without case.The front pocket is redesigned, got no complain. Overall a good everyday bag for work or school.

I use the pocket in the very back for my computer and it fits in even with the case. It’s very durable and it’s doesn’t really soak up water. It’s great for everyday use. I love this back pack because it has little spots that are perfect for a lot of my things. In the biggest pocket there’s a little sleeve and I like to put books in there so they don’t get ruined.

I actually had to order this product twice! First time it was the wrong color,I sent it back. Thank goodness amazon makes it super easy. I tried again and got the correct color. I love it!!! It’s only been a couple of days of me carrying my gear around but it sits perfect on my shoulders with nice wide straps. I like carhartt that what we wear for our uniforms so I knew it would be a great product
