Awesome Laptop
Can't say enough great things about this computer. Haven't had it that long but so far it seems ready to handle anything I want to do; Great large clear display, fast operation and quality battery, would highly recommend to anyone that has a lot of computing to do; No comment on gaming because I don't have time for it, but I believe it would handle it with ease.

Great Buy
Purchased this laptop in August 2022 after some extensive research. I am very pleased with its performance and speed. Boots up fast and the intel i-7 processor delivers exceptional speed. This was a great buy and I highly recommend this laptop.

Powerhouse laptop. NOT a gaming laptop. Abysmal graphics card. Doesn't work with Windows Hello!
I am overall happy with my purchase. I didn't buy this to be a gaming laptop so the sub par graphics card doesn't bother me much. I DID however, buy it run powerful applications without freezing (I'm a DJ so I use apps like Serato and OBS simultaneously). This machine ahs so far been able to handle pretty much any workload I throw at it which is impressive! But... the Intel Iris Xe Graphics card it comes with is the lowest of the low end. And that causes problems with the other side of what I do (and why I purchased it) which is video and multi-media editing.I have to give it 4 stars because this thing is a beast but the seller clearly mods it before sending it out. It's beefed up and more powerful than your baseline Envy 17 out of the box but their tinkering causes some incompatibilities. Namely, it simply will not run the most updated version of the hands down best free video editing suite out there for Windows (Davinci Resolve 17) and, at least for me, out of the box the built in laptop camera does not work with Windows Hello. So I can't sue facial recognition to login.I got around the Davinci Resolve issue by installing the last version 16 build before 17. But Windows Hello is still broken after multiple rounds with support and driver updates. Don't get me wrong, the laptop camera works with every other app. Just not Windows Hello.Beyond that, it's been excellent. Crisp responsive touch screen, great battery life given how powerful it is. I can do a DJ set running Serato and OBS live streaming to Twitch with multiple camera sources while recording my music set locally in Serato on the same laptop with zero problems for 2 and a half hours before I hit the 15 minute warning mark. All while on battery power. It's an HP so I know I can count on its reliability. With all the power packed into this thing. It's only 4 cores (otherwise it might as well be a server, lol) but with 32GB RAM, Core i7 processor, and a TB of storage (no external drive for me, I just backup with OneDrive!) this laptop should cost $2,200 - $3,000+ easily. So it's a great bargain.

Hubby loves this…. But
Great computer! Works great….. NOW! Seems HP has changed some things…. You have to pay ‘more’ to get it up and running! We tried everything on our own, not a first computer by any means, but you no longer can purchase a computer from HP with out having to make a call to their service group, pay a ransom fee to get ‘your’ computer up and online! Thankfully we have a great computer repair group in our hometown. One phone call, a quick drop off and within hours, they had it up and running and back in our hands! They were able to bypass HP b.s.!!!!

Do not buy an HP Laptop, especially this one.
I waited to write this review to see if HP had decent support. They don't. It is impossible to get anyone to talk to you. I purchased this beautiful Envy laptop on Dec. 11th, 2021. Eight months later the screen began to go dark occasionally in the bottom left corner. When I tried to get a hold of HP at first the automated system said it was out of warranty saying it was purchased in August. I disputed that by uploading my receipt (it took well over a week to do this because the upload keeps spinning for hours until the computer goes to sleep and you have to start the whole process all over). Finally they sent me an email saying they have extended my warranty until this December. So I found an authorized HP service center in Michigan and drove the 90 or so miles to take my laptop there. They had my computer for another week and they eventually gave up because my updated warranty was not in HP's system and THEY couldn't get a hold of anyone at HP to speak with. So I picked it up and brought it back and kept opening support cases and laying this all out. I finally got them to reopen the case to get some warranty service and they sent me a phone number to call. The stupid automated system keeps saying that they can't find my serial number then it tells me it will connect me with an agent and then they hang up on me. FOUR TIMES in a row. This is a horrible company with horrible customer service. Don't get blinded by the beauty or the features or the specs. It only lasted 8 months and when the laptop needs service you can't get a hold of a bloody human to help you. I would give this product a zero out of five stars.

New purchase but so far - I love it!
Love the size of the screen and ease of set up. Had to call customer service for something simple and they were excellent. Still getting things all set up but so far I am impressed and am glad I purchased this particular computer.
