Q: Can i use this antenna in Yaesu VX-6 ?

Yes, it works great on my VX-6 as most stock antennas from the factory are rather poor. The Diamond improved overall performance greatly, including 220.

Q: Can someone verify the authenticity of this product? I'm concerned it is not authentic due to previous reviews.

It works great on my Kenwood TH-F6A for the Ham bands. Still need the original "rubber Duck" for the NOAA weather channels. I'm not sure what your concern is? It's cut to increase performance on the 3 Ham Bands, and it has given my HT a marked improvement on those bands. I read the reviews and do not understand what would not be "authentic"?
