For a Chinese knife sheath that my Mora Classic knife is going into, this is a good sheath. I didn't want to spend as much as the knife on a sheath that is going to get all dinged up in the woods. It's a good fit for the classic Mora with the finger guard. It's not perfect as the knife will fall out when upside down without the snap closed. However, the leather is softer, and is comfortable when in the horizontal carry position. I wish the snap was larger and the star on the belt loop was a bit stronger, but for the money this is a good value.

This is a really nice sheath! Mine is well made an all the details, stitching, rivets, snap, are perfect. It has a really nice soft feel, not stiff and the texture feels like it is made from good quality leather. the leather is a little thin and it is very flexible, so I hope that I don't poke the blade point through it. Color is rich, deep brown and I like it! It fits my handmade knife very well with a 3.5" blade and it is roomy enough that the bolster/handle just tucks in a half inch and makes it feel really secure. If your knife has large finger guards, it probably won't work. Both belt loops are roomy enough for my wide belts. I highly reccommend this!

good material, correct length. the thread can be tougher, and the loop for the knife handle is too tight and should be at least half inch larger.

Well made, solid, comfy and holds knife at perfect angle.

Was looking for a sheath for my vintage Deer Slayer knife. Knife fits in the sheath, looks good, but only problem is strap with snap isn't tight enough. Can pull knife out with un-snapping the strap! Sheath is well constructed especially for the cost. Just not the right sheath for a vintage Deer Slayer knife.

Nice soft leather sheath. Purchased for a Buck 853 Selkirk. It fits nicely into the sheath.

High quality leather, good design for a taco style sheath, and the one I got did in fact come with a leather welt, so presumably they added that feature. Very pleased and would buy again.Only nitpick I have is that I think the belt loop leather should be a little thinker for added reliability.The knife should be blade side heavy if you want to side carry instead of vertical.Thanks.
