Steiner 7 x 30 Marine
As advertised. Built well, impressive glass, and light weight. I use them on the boat and also to look at the moon. All the things you researched are true. Impressive color pop, very comfortable to hold, decent neck strap and very good before dark considering they're only 30mm.

High quality binocular.
Very sharp imaging. True colors. Glare is very well controlled, better than some 500.00 binoculars I've seen. I think very well suited for both land and sea. A beautiful dark navy blue that on quick glance might be mistaken for black. Not for everyone, I think one should be familiar with this type of binocular and how to make it work for you before ordering. Not for bird watchers that want to look at objects that are fairly close. I can when looking at the edge of field of view get perfect focus on an object as close as 14 yards. Of course a very 3 dimensional view. Wide view. I have many binoculars of all price ranges up to $1000.00 and these may have become my favorite pair. Great for the woodsman that wants to be able to see quickly without fidling with an adjustment. Takes a short time to get the focus adjustments to exactly where you want it, but then no more adjusting should be needed,( have mine set for a very eye relaxed viewing at center of field of view at about 250 yards, can perfectly focus on objects miles away or the moon and as mentioned 14 yards). Once you are sure you got them where you want them, take a very fine marker and make a small dot on the adjustment rings so if ever moved you can quickly go back to where you were. Very solid and well done binocular, and I feel a very nice case to carry or store. And the adjusting rings are plenty stiff so as not to be accidentally moved. An art to using them but will quickly become "part of you" for very efficient viewing. Very good design of objective lenses caps that stay out of your way, only a quick shake and they are out of the way. Caps go on and off quickly and positively. Should be highly water resistant/proof for bad weather. I LOVE THEM ALREADY! and have had um for only a few days.
