These are great for saving time and you can use them on short pipes where getting a standard flaring kit in would be a struggle. They're well made and work very well in a standard cordless drill. The only downside is they sometimes leave small pieces of swarf in the pipe so the pipe should be at a downhill angle or you must plan ahead when and where you use them to be able to clean the swarf out.Bottom line is if you're in the HVAC industry these are a must have.

Saves so much time when installing multiple mini-split units at a time. Just be careful to go STRAIGHT into the pipe!

works great! make sure you have extra copper tubing to practice first! you have to be strait on or it won’t flair right also be mindful IT WILL GET HOT when you make the flairs

I used it on two 5/8 and two 3/8 inch tubing for a mini split ac system. I practiced a couple times before doing the real pipes. I didn’t have any issues but did screw up my first time on the 5/8. Slight slant. Corrected myself and had no other issues. Leak checked at 300 psi overnight and was rock steady.
