Q: If you bought the Large bands, are they the same length? The original band that came with the Luxe is uncomfortable to wear because they're uneven.

Bands are exactly the same as the original Luxe band

Not that I know. I bought this Luxe replacing a slim Fitbit of the first generation that lasted 3 to 4 years. This Luxe is not responding as well as the original and it is harder to understand the details. It records when it wants would be the easy explanation of the problem. The bands are very nice but the watch is not up to its initial version. Maria

Q: Do you select the size of the band by the size of your wrist?

If the original Fitbit Luxe band fits you, you would order the small. If you need to use the extender band that comes with the original Fitbit, then you would need the large.
