Arrived as described with 8 cables, Worked great Plug and Play
Item arrived as described. It worked straight out of the box.Replacement for an existing 4 slot HDMI KVM -I needed 2 additional slots so I can set up another 2 computers - which is a pain if I have to have another monitor and keyboard on my desk. The cables are different from my old KVM - no USB plug at KVM end, which is much neater, but does mean I had to switch out all the cables for the ones supplied to get it to work - it would not work with my existing KVM HDMI/USB cables. The Switch does not need a separate power supply, which is a bonus. It worked fine with the little extension key pad - have not tried the Infrared remote - as I will either have it on my desk under the monitor or tucked down the back - in which case I will use the wired remote keypad.I am using it happily with a Logitech K710 /M705 wireless keyboard and mouse combo with no problems. It is also working fine with a Canyon-CNS-CWC5 Webcam.Tried it with a USB headset - worked fine.Posted this review the day I got it, so I cannot comment on longevity - but I've had 2 or 3 of these Chinese made KVM boxes over the last 10 years. This one seems well built and hopefully will keep working well just like the others.

It's amazing!!!!
Well made, but its long and thin so if you are replacing something like the Lindy USB 4 port KVM expect to have to move stuff around.Works well, cables are a bit shorter than the Lindy, but not too much to be an issue. It actually makes cable management easier.I have the TEX Shinobi KB, Logitech MMO mouse and Steel Series Arctis Pro plugged into the USB ports and it switches between the PCs without issues. It auto switching to another port when something is plugged in is a bit annoying but not a killer.

utter junk - cannot cope with Linix
Bought this to allow ease access to 6 linux boxes - essentially wont pick up/pass the hdmi outputwhen plugging hdmi cable directly on to the monitor all is fine - but the HDMI switch simply wont do its job

Good value KVM switch if you're on a tight budget
This is certainly one of the cheapest 8 port HDMI KVM switches on Amazon, but I don't think quality has been compromised too much. The switch itself looks fairly tough in a metal case, and is rather smaller than other similar models. The included cables (all eight of them, for a change) are neat enough, and the inclusion of a wired remote control pad is nice as well as the usual wireless controller - it's a good bundle overall. The only problem I have encountered is that one of my servers did not work well on one of the ports - the screen kept going to black every few seconds. I swapped this to another port, and another server worked on the original port, so I am guessing a marginal component that disliked a marginal signal from that particular device. I could have asked for a replacement, but as it is all working after rearranging I'll take the chance that it doesn't get worse. Definitely recommended if you are looking for a cheap option - although the TESmart units are probably a bit better if you don't mind paying twice as much.

Understated but great
I bought this to simplify my setup switching between a PC desktop and a MacBook Pro, and this was the only reasonably priced product I could find that would allow a single USB-C cable to be used for the MacBook connection.I was optimistic but prepared to send the product back if it didn’t work well. Thankfully it works perfectly! No problems with gaming or work usage, it has a reassuringly solid metal construction, and just works. The beep when switching is a little obnoxious, but not really a problem in a home office context.

Brilliant for a few days
I loved this product to start with - i had it setup in my server rack hooked up to the following devices:- A Gaming PC- A Xbox One- A Nintendo Switch- A Dell R210 Server- A TrueNas server- A Plex ServerIt worked fantastically for the first two-three days but then caused issue by not outputting sometimes or randomly causing my screens to go black/ not being able to output to the correct resolution.I have opted to return mine and reorder once my refund has been proccessed, as i want to chalk it up to mine just being a defective unit.I will update my reveiw dependant of how my second unit behaves. Its a shame as the product does exaclty what i would want it to do and was a breeze to setup, the build quailty is fantastic and feels like good quality.Again will update my reveiw once i have determined if this was just an issue with my one unit.ThanksJack
