Expensive junk
Disappointed after the good reviews on this rod. Was due to return the item due to rocking reel seat as well as metal scratching the rod every time it was extended for use. Only used a handful of times. Rod snapped whilst attempting to lift a 3lb ish pollack onto the rocks during some LRF. Unfortunately couldn’t retrieve the fish or rod due to deep water and ended up cutting line which is not ideal for the hooked fish. I paid approx £90 for this rod. I also purchased the smaller 7-24g rod which seems far superior built with an improved reel seat “plussino bronze warrior” which I’m very happy with. Amazon return process started-just need to get the time off work to post it back...

Fishing rod
This rod seemed nice, but as soon as i opened it I knew it was not a good purchase for me. The rod feels very cheap and light. I dont trust that it wont snap on me. The reel on the other hand is really smooth and very well built (one of the nicest reels if tried). I wish i could have bought the reel on its own.

Misleading cheap product
Product claimed to have 12+1 ball bearings, but as soon as you open up the reel, you'll not even find 1 on the spool. They are taking specs from high end reels and marketing it as their own. Any avid fisherman can tell right away this is a junk rod and reel combo, however, new people will get tricked by their snazzy marketing terms and purchase the product, only to be unhappy. Not sure how they go so many reviews but don't believe the hype. This thing is junk!The rod gets stuck and snaps easily but this shouldn't happen. Amazon really needs to step up their game and monitor products that are #1 in the category for manipulated reviews. This product is top rated because of it's reviews yet it's absolute junk. it's cheap enough so that they can give them away for free in exchange for a review but this will ultimately hurt buyer confidence.
