I have tried 2 time to get the seeds to germinate both time nothing grew. I planted dragon fruit seed in the same soil mix and they are growing nicely. Think I will get cutting instead.

Save your money. Cactus are hard to impossible to kill. Not one seed sprouted.

One of the bigger seeds germinated within two days. Then I educated myself about this species. They usually will not germinate unless you cut into them (called scarification) and refrigerate them for up to three months (cold stratification). I guess I got lucky with my one sprout! If you're not patient, buy living plants with roots!
