Affordable and does exactly what its described as doing
I got this to experiment with diff pedals at home and at practice. The main thing i wanted it for was to A/B/C etc diff models of the same type of pedal; so like switching between a bunch of Klon clones. For this it does work perfectly.Just as a standard loop switcher its great. You can use it as individual or set up banks. I tried different programming just to see how it was; very easy. It doesn't come with user manual but im sure you can get this on the internet. If you've used this type of gear before you honestly can figure it out really quickly without a manual.Switching is good. No noise or anything weird.Having a built in tuner is always nice, as long as you're not being overcharged for this. But really, every musician already has one or more tuners that they love. When you engage the tuner, the switcher is muted; i really wish this was something you had the choice to enable/disable; i don't think most people will wait until the song ends to make tuning adjustments. There is a tuner out jack, which is a pre-loop sub so you *can have your fav tuner sitting there running. I don't know if/how the buffer(s) affects this tuner output. There is a mute switch, which for me is impossible to hit because i'm not a tiny-footed tap-dancer. Every time i tried to hit the mute switch, i was also hitting the 5/6 buttons. As some other ppl have pointed out, the indicator lights on each switch are right next to and in front of the switches, which makes it hard or impossible to see when you're back even just a few feet from your board. Its super annoying. This switcher has two buffer options; pre-effect pedals and post. This really is something that ALL gear like this should have. Not everyone will need both, but most people will need one of them. In my opinion, anyone who doesn't think they need a buffer somewhere in their pedal chain, just doesn't actually understand what a buffer does and how it can affect your sound. This was a good buy. Highly recommended!

Pretty sweet controller
I am really pleased with this unit. Works very well for my needs, the buffers are a great addition along with the mute button. My one gripe is that when you're in "patch" mode and you step on a button, the lights that are on correspond to the loops that are active as opposed to the patch you have selected. It does display the number of the patch selected on the LED screen but still.... overall though for the price and getting 6 patches rather than the 4 you get with most other controllers (that are still more expensive than this one, I might add) this is a great buy. Hopefully the quality is good and it holds up for years... thought nothing gives me the indication that it won't hold up for years. Pull the trigger on this, you won't be disappointed!

Excellent! Use as switcher or can build up banks of pedal boards!
So this is actually extremely useful! It is kind of a workhorse too! It doesn’t have its own effects and isn’t a “looper” but it does make a lot of difference in how much effort you have to put in to switch sounds mid set! It has a built in tuner which works great, and also a mute button that really mutes everything, or works in preset or live mode - For live mode press live/back button and you’ll see PL on screen where you can switch between the 6 different slots, so if you have multiple pedal boards already built up for your specific sound you can use this to switch between them or turn on several and play them together - For preset mode press the live/back button again and you’ll see P11 (or any combination for the numbers 1-6) - and this mode is where this switcher really shines! You can preset up to 6 banks, each with 6 slots of any combination of your pedals/boards on each loop (wether it’s just one pedal in each loop, or multiple pedals all linked together on a pedal board) - So for P11 that’s bank one slot one (tap the bank up/down buttons to choose between the bank and slot you want) - When you’re on the bank and slot you want, press the edit/save button and you’ll see E11, from there you’ll tap the buttons to decide which peda(ls) you want on (so you could combine your distortion pedal plugged into loop 1 with your overdrive pedal plugged into loops 4 for example) - once you are happy with the choice, press the edit/save button again and you’ll see S11 - at this point you can choose to put this combo in into any of the 6 different slots - just tap the button of the slot you choose to use! - You can build up so many different combinations of pedals that are just there at the tap of a button; I feel like I’m pretty much building up banks of digital pedal boards! - Even a digital buffer (before the pedal, after, or both) - Definitely an excellent tool for musicians! Doesn’t have bypass or any midi connection, but this thing is still a huge win! 10/10 from me!

Switching is not instantaneous
There is a slight delay when switching. This is a deal breaker for me, as it makes the unit unusable in a performance or while recording. Really bummed that no other reviewers mentioned this, here or on YouTube.

Broke Down after 3 weeks of use.
Worked fine for about 3 weeks, and then stopped working. Now it's a paperweight, even the built in tuner doesn't work. I should have read the reviews first, as many others have experienced the same problem - the controller just stops working. Thankfully I was in my return period, so I am sending it back to amazon. I would stay away from purchasing this and just buy something else.

Great Value
You definitely get what you pay for. Although it is on the cheaper side and capability is limited, it’s way more worth than spending at least twice as much on a loop switcher that has maybe one or two more features.
