This clock is really elegant and a great size for the location it is going.

So very disappointed in this clock! Maybe I didn’t read all the fine print (which I usually do unless it’s a known seller) but this clock is plastic. Plastic clock face, plastic “mosaic” tiles, which is just one big, plastic circle covered with a metallic foil and then clear coated and finished with a matte black “grout” that is all over the tiles. For this price, NO WAY! I can go rummage through my favorite clearance bins and discount stores and buy three much nicer clocks for that price.

6/20/21 -DO NOT BUY THIS CLOCK!!! While it is a lovely clock, the dang thing won't run!!! I have tried replacing the battery 3Xs in 2-1/2 mos and it loses time right away! I reached out to Amazon and because I was beyond the one month free returns, they asked me to contact the company. I tried doing that...since their is not a link to be able to contact them anymore, I went out to their website on 6/14 and sent them in a recap of the situation and my displeasure. Lulu has NOT reached back out to me!!! Furthermore, on their website, they say to return the item, you must call them to get an RMA. NO where on their website is a phone number to be able to reach them and they don't reply to your request for them to do so. Today, I called Amazon and they are going to give me 80% of my purchase price back and have the clock picked up for return. Actually, we are a huge Amazon customer and this is the first time we've had an unsatisfactory situation. Buyer BEWARE!!!Original comment: We have it on our patio in AZ. It's lovely. Only wish the clock face itself was just an inch larger all the way around, but I still love it. I have changed my review from a 5 star to a 3 star because I have only had this clock for 2 mos, hanging on my covered, shaded patio (in AZ...so it's hot, but I have had other clocks w/no problem), and it keeps loosing time. Not minutes, hours!! This is the 2nd time I have replaced the batteries (3 in all - original + 2 changes) and we'll see how it works out. The clock has a covered face, so it should be okay outside. But you might want to reconsider if using in an outdoor environment.

I purchased Lp72 in October and am now ready to order Lp71 for a different room. Lp72 looks just like the photo. Colors are bold, bright, and eye-catching. The movement is completely silent, and the minute hand moves smoothly without the normal hitch from second to second. Plan to wipe the entire surface with a damp cloth to remove a black powder that covers all surfaces.By the way, the oval shape of the clock face is an optical illusion. I called the company to request an oval face special order. The nice manager stated that they did not make an oval shape, but he agreed that one of the online photos looked like an oval shape although he had no explanation for the illusion. After I hung the clock, I realized that it appears to be oval shaped when placed high on a wall. My first location was aligned with the top of the room door jamb. When I was seated, the clock appeared oval. Overall, this clock is a great buy.
