Good Product!
Worked good on our dog. Brought his liver functions to near normal in six weeks. Under advice of our vet, we are keeping him on these. His test number was over 200, where under 100 is normal. He had come down to about 115. The vet says he can now go under anesthesia for teeth cleaning. The cost was excellent at about $45.00 for a bottle of 60. This is 75 cents a day.

Works well for my Boxer!
My young Boxer had an liver enzyme count of 1400 with no liver failure symptoms displayed. My vet put her on Denamarin which is pretty expensive when that ran out I started giving her this. 6 weeks later her blood work showed her liver enzyme count to be 500. My vet said to keep it up with this product and we'll check again. I'm totally thrilled as this cost less than Denamarin and I don't have to make a $60 vet visit to get it.

Senile dog barking problem?? Try these!!
My almost 16 year old Shiba Inu is pretty much heading toward senility. He'd started this rhythmical barking thing that would happen at 8:15am every morning until you'd just about lose your mind hollering for him to stop. My veterinarian recommended starting him on 225mg of SAM-e (that's what this stuff is) once a day. It made a difference immediately. The strange thing is that if you look at the bottle it states that it helps with liver function. Now I'm not exactly sure how the liver is involved with senile dog barking, but it has certainly lessened Buick's barking during the day and he doesn't get "stuck on stupid" as often as he did before. Now if he starts barking it just takes one or two verbal corrections to stop the problem. Make sure you buy the large Pill Pockets by Greenies to help your dog get these down, because the directions stated not to break the pill up before giving it. Buick is about 30-35 lbs and he wolfs it down in one gulp in a pill pocket. No side effects at all, and I reckon it's cleaning his liver too! **DISCLAIMER** As with all supplements, check with your vet before giving your dog any supplements, but it's worth suggesting these to your vet if you're having the senile dawg barking blues!

Do not buy
All of the pills are damaged, and are mostly unuseable. I can’t return them, because they are not eligible to be returned and I’m stuck with a product that’s completely damaged

Had no effect on my dog, but.....
I gave this product 5 stars but really I think it turned out that my dog didn't need it. My dog was having symptoms characteristic of heart or liver failure, but my vet couldn't identify the problem by examination. So she said to feed the dog chicken, rice, carrots and pumpkin for a while. It did appear to be the end for my dog, so this was a last ditch effort. It was amazing. Within one day of stopping canned Alpo and starting the new diet, my dog made a complete recovery. After a week or so, I switched her back to canned Alpo, just to see what would happen, and lo and behold, she began having the same deathly symptoms. I switched her back to the chicken diet and she was fine. Apparently she developed an intolerance to something in Alpo. After all of this transpired, this S Adenosyl arrived. I did give it to my dog, but it seemed to have no effect. After a week, I stopped giving it to her. No difference. So I switched my dog to canned Pedigree, and she is fine with that. But I have decided to give my dog homemade food after much research on the Internet. The recipe per day is 2 eggs, 1 cup rice, tablespoon pumpkin, teaspoon brewer's yeast, two tablespoons of ricotta cheese, a small amount of broccoli or chopped spinach or peas, a few blueberries, and a small amount of celery. That covers all of the dog's nutritional needs. The dog is 18 pounds.

Great medicine at a great price
First, my shipment came from EntirelyPets and appears to be the real deal. I got a 60-day supply for the same price I was paying the vet for a 30-day supply! My 11-year old dog has been taking this pill for about 2 years now. We were seeing some of her liver enzyme values rise visit after visit, but after starting this pill her numbers finally leveled off. They did not get better, but have not continued to get worse.

Improving my 11 yr old Schnauzer's quality of life
When we were told that our pet Schnauzer may be going into the beginning stages of Cushings, according to his bloodwork, we were crushed. The Vet at first wanted to put him through a battery of test, which were very expensive. My husband and I took him to see another vet for a 2nd opinion, and discussed whether to put him through the test or just make him comfortable until the end. The life expectation for Cushing is 2 yrs, with or without treatment. She recommended trying S Adenosyl 225. That has been 2 months ago, and he is doing great!! We have not taken him back for bloodwork to see if his levels are down, but he has really perked up and we feel that he is feeling much better. We give him one per night. I would recommend this alternative treatment.

Liver enzymes did not go down with nearly three bottles of supplementing.
Like mentioned in another review for the Biotech Pure Graviola, the Adenosyl or SAMe is also a part of the palliative regimen for our terminally ill dog who has liver cancer. And while I was not expecting my dogs cancer to be wiped out, I was hoping that some of her liver enzyme readings would go down, if only a bit. But no such luck, even though we are very nearly through our third bottle. On the other hand, my dog has beat her prognosis of two weeks by nearly six months. It seems like she might pull another few weeks and despite losing nearly all-muscle mass, she seems to be doing well. The important thing is she is pain free and we are so happy about just that. So definitely we plan to continue using it for her.Other things she takes are Biotech Graviola, (SAME), hepatrophin, Omegas, Gentle DIgest,, DasUquin, SuperFoods Organic Wholebody Supplements, and a homeopathic prescription.
