As close to Turbo as you can get for now
Phantom Ranger briefly appeared in Power Rangers In Space. Because of that we get this figure. Hasbro doesn't have the rights to the MMPR Movie or Turbo the Movie and since it tied in with the corresponding television show Turbo, they don't have the rights to make Turbo characters.Phantom Ranger was a legendary character shrouded in mystery. The figure has a great likeness. Worth a buy and for Turbo fans a must have.

The First Must Have of this Lightning Collection Wave (And Turbo in general)
Of all the figures released for Wave 12 of Hasbro's Power Rangers Lightning Collection - Zeo Yellow, Space Pink, and Dino Charge Green - the Phantom Ranger from Turbo/In Space for me is the highlight. Turbo may not be any Ranger fan's cup of tea but this figure of the Phantom Ranger was indeed a solid edition.I never own an action figure of Phantom Ranger before growing up, but this Hasbro Lightning figure makes up for it in the 25-26 years since Turbo and In Space aired. The Phantom Ranger, like the Gold Zeo Ranger before him, is a fan favorite character and he is just as a fan favorite character of mine as him and Magna Defender from Lost Galaxy.A year later after purchase (2023), I am satisfied with how the figure turned out. I, like many Power Ranger fans and collectors, have wanted Hasbro put out something Turbo related in the collection. It was evident to them about Turbo's infamy within the fandom. But they (Hasbro) needed to take that risk. While the figure is good, only offputting thing for me is why have him as "In Space Phantom Ranger" on the packaging? He was both a Turbo and In Space character. Another reason why was because in In Space's "Delta Discovery" episode, as seen in one of the accessories for the figure, he had a gun shaped Turbo Navigator to shoot a distress beacon to contact the Rangers while he was on the planet Kalderon where Zordon was last captured. Makes sense for this release.
