Received the ram in a timely manner. The ram was an exact replacement for MF 283 and installed relatively quickly. The only complaint I have was that on the wrist pin bolts on the rear of the ram was cross threaded. I had to trace the bolt hole with a tap to clean up the threads and replace the bolt. Ram was easy to bleed, mowed fields for 8 hours after installation with no problems.

The cylinder broke when bleeding the system. They replaced it and the same thing happened. I went with another vendor to confirm it was not me and it other vendors part is working fine. I will give them credit as a company for sending the second part but the something about the cylinder did not handle tension when pulling in. Both broke essentially the same way, at the hole. I did not contact them when the second one broke because I installed the other vendors part today to confirm something else was not causing the issue.

Delivery was late. On installation, everything was going well. When we started bleeding the steering, the cylinder shaft broke at the pin hole. Perhaps the grade of steel is inappropriate for the application.
