IWB Holster Compatible with Taurus 85 and S&W 637 642 638 43 442 Revolvers,Not for Protector Models

No screwdriver came with mine. Luckily, I had one in drawer.Fit as supplied was too tight to use with Taurus 856. The supplied Chicago adjusting screws were of good quality. I removed the screws and spacers completely and the 856 slides in n out very smoothly. Some may prefer to adjust the screws until they have more friction to the fit or even a snap-in fit. The plastic belt clip seems robust and is adjustable for for-aft cant using the two screws. Easy re-holstering without undoing the belt. The groove in the belt clip is too narrow to be used with 1.5" belt - needs another 1/4" (better too wide than too narrow, Mr designer). Rides very comfortably on me at about 4-30.ProsRobust, good features and materials.ConsNo screwdriver provided with mineBelt clip needs an extra 1/4" on width of belt slot (most people wear 1.5" wide belts in my experience)Perhaps it should be supplied with 2 belt clips - 1.25" and 1.5". Most people have a screwdriver, so leave that out.Some advice to those who may get a tight one, even when the screws are removed. Place some packing material (wood, plastic, metal or folded aluminum foil) in the open gap to force it apart about 1/4" more. Heat the folded edge with a hairdryer until it gets hot to touch. Allow to cool, remove the packing material and you should find that you have a looser fit.

It seems to work fine for a Taurus 605 2" snubbie. I did put thicker rubber grommet on it as others before me and it's snug as a bug. The belt clip is a little stiff and feels tough enough to last. For the price, I can't complain.

I ordered this holster for my 605 knowing it was not made for this model. Adding a 1/16 thick rubberwasher to the top tension adjuster made it fit perfectly. For the price it can't be beat. So far the feel while wearing it is fine.

I am a certified firearms instructor. So I personally own quite a few holsters. I have a wide variety (beyond my daily carries) to demonstrate and teach with.This holster is one of the best IWB holsters for a wheel gun (revolver). Here's why:-it grips like a Fobus, but not too tight. So it's secure, but you don't have to yank hard to retrieve-IWB belt clip is simple and secure (but not so great for thick leather belts).-HAMMER guard... So many holsters lack this. (I put a yellow arrow on photo to highlight that). This keeps the hammer from digging into your gut when you bend over.-price. Terrific price for what you get. It's MUCH better than an Uncle M fabric holster (which will wear holes through).Perfect for snub nosed 2" (I tried it with my Charter Arms..same as Taurus 85, SW J frame, etc)

As the title says, this holster works perfectly for a Taurus model 85. There are two retention screws that can be adjusted for tension. The belt clip also works well and keeps the holster and revolver secure. Over all, a very good kydex holster for the money.

Was looking for an IWB holster for my taurus 856. The gun fits, however it will not pull back out of the holster. It will unclip completely before allowing the gun to alive out of the holster.Holster is cheap, too tight, and too light of a weight.. highly unsatisfied.

Bought for my s&w 642 back up. Great holster.. Geno....

It's ok really tight fit takes alot of effort to release from case
