Fantastic Tool
In my youth I worked in sheet rock and so have had a fair share of experience with texturing walls. In the past, I've opted to rent a spray gun when faced with an around-the-house texture job. However, the device from the rental store usually is old and well worn. Recently when a pipe leaked and we had to cut into the wall, I was faced with patching the rather large opening. The thought came to mind that what I needed was a smaller, easier to use and store spray gun that was of the same quality as commercial devices. I found it in this product. It is about half the size of commercial ones (which for small jobs is perfect). It is of high quality. For the knock-down that is typical of most houses today, I used the larger nozzle at a lower air pressure setting. It worked perfectly with no problems. While I probably will not use this tool but once every few years, I'm so glad I have it. It was/is well-worth the money.

Works Well. Easy to Clean. Consistent Results. Not Expensive
I previously has a Wal-Board hopper gun I bought from Home Depot years ago. It served me well for many years but finally needed replacing. They are insanely priced now, and in my opinion not worthy of the price hike for what is essentially the same old design. It was time for me to look for other options that are out there and available. I watched a youtube video that described having some luck using this Joywayus hopper, so I took a chance.Honestly, Ive had no issues with this little thing. In the time Ive had it, Ive completely textured several rooms which included doing both walls and ceilings, varying between 2 of the provided nozzle sizes. Ive also dismantled the gun several times to clean it up and put it back together for further use another day without any issues. I keep it clean, I get my pressure dialed in, I add my mud to the hopper, and I spray texture. I get consistent results and haven't had an issue with sputtering or clogs. There is a nice O-ring that seals up the actual hopper to the gun and I haven't experienced any leaks from that junction. I'm also pleased that this has a handle which has come in handy because doing this for hours gets heavy after a while. There are several versions of this sprayer, but I highly recommend getting the one that mentions coming with an elbow attachment. Its listed as 'White, 1.58 Gallon (6 L) Elbow' Its not much more cost wise, and doing so nets you an elbow that helps when doing ceilings.I've reached out to customer support for the company I bought this from and I got prompt replies, which was an added plus. All in all I am extremely happy at the results Ive gotten out of this thing when accounting for its cost and performance vs other hoppers. I could buy 2 of these and still not be at the cost of getting one from the local big box stores.

Good gun, lousy clamps
The texture sprayer worked exactly as it should and came with 3 spray tips which let me get the knockdown texture I needed. It is easy to take apart and clean and there is an included air shutoff valve which makes it easy to use.The clamps that come with the sprayer are not great. The tube to hopper connection is tight so the included clamp works fine for that connection. The gun to tube connection is loose, so I bought a replacement 2 1/2" clamp from the local home store to keep the hopper from falling off.

Works perfect
Works as well as any hopper I’ve used. Achieved a perfect light texture that matched the rest of my walls perfect. Very easy to use and clean. If you have never used one before there is a few variables in order to get results. I’d recommend practice on some scrap pieces.

Great value
Easy set up, easy to use and easy to clean. Had a small project. Used the medium nozzle. Worked great. Bo issues at all.

hard to assemble/disassemble
This works, but it's not the easiest to assemble. I don't know why they went with hard plastic pvc style for the black hose connector. A soft hose here would allow the hose clamps to work better. As it is, this is tough to assemble and breakdown because of that. And frankly, if you are really cleaning it after every use, you have to disassemble it. A softer piece of hose would have made that easier and allowed some flexibility in the hopper. I've run to the hardware store and picked up some reinforced hose used for pools to do what they should have done the first time, and now it's working a lot better. So, I'm calling this average, because I had to mod it to make it solid.

Perfect hopper for drywall textures
This was recommended off a repair video a drywall company was putting out so, I tried one and was well pleased with it. I was able to match texture perfectly just playing around with the air settings and texture mix density. The optimal setting for me was 60 PSI. That laid down a nice medium texture. To date I've,I've repaired three rooms and a garage area ceiling that the sheetrock had some cracks and the hopper helped me match the texture perfectly. The downsides I found with the tool is I went with the aluminum cup, which is a little on the thin side so you have to be careful or at bends easily. I think the plastic one is a better choice. There is also an O-ring for the cup to the gun that may need replaced down the road after removing and cleaning over time. You have to be careful especially with the aluminum cup in order not to cut the seal when inserting the cup over it. Lastly the only functionality issue I had is that there are hose clamps that hold the cup to the gun and those need to be tight. The one in the kit is cheap, so I put a higher-end hose clamp on it to make sure that the cup did not come loose during spray operations.
