Our daughter has had bowel issues for some long time. I understand there are a lot of other children with this issue, having to change their underwear so often. An ND suggested using rinds OF grapefruit and oranges for the problem...That sounded like a lot of work to even make it and then to get it consumed.... i looked online for a product that would use these items. This was closest i could find, and i believe it is doing the job....no accidents or rare accidents and keeping bed dry all night. I am getting low and want another bottle! Well worth the cost.

This seems to be a high quality citrus bioflavonoid supplement. When opening the bottle, it smells like fresh grapefruit. Very pleasant. Small capsules are easy to swallow, no taste on the outside. Powder inside tastes bitter, which is correct for that they are.The product claims to support antioxidant activity and immune function, from a blend of bitter orange and grapefruit extracts. I take citrus bioflavonoids daily. This is a new brand to me. It seems to be effective. The amount of bioflavonoids in this product is about half if the amount that is in my usual brand, so I do have to double up.

Clav is a brand I have not heard of until now. They are a German company, and all their products are made and manufactured in Germany. Clav uses recycled amber glass for their supplements reducing their environmental footprint. It also keeps the supplements fresher longer. This Citrus Bioflavonoid supplement is made from natural plant compounds of bitter (sour ) orange and grapefruit peels. These nutrients offer antioxidant anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and anti bacterial benefits and support your immune system. According to the CLav website this supplement is non-GMO, Organic, produced in a cGMP facility in Germany. The supplements are lab tested however It does not specify if that is 3rd party tested. Clav is compliant to HAACP standards ( "HACCP stands for Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points. It is a systematic preventive approach to food safety that identifies and controls biological, chemical, and physical hazards in food production, processing, distribution, and consumption. ") Clav really goes out of their way to make sure you know that they do everything possible to offer their customers all natural and organic and high quality supplements. All these point are great transparency and gives me a lot of confidence that this Clav Citrus Bioflavonoid was worth a good try. I found the capsules easy to swallow. I did however take these with food as I always have a sensitive digestive system. The cost is very reasonable for a 1 month supply of this high quality supplement. I did not have any issues related to needing the benefit of this particular supplement so it's not something I can 100% declare I felt the benefits. One thing I did learn is that this particular supplement of bioflavonoid "could" interact with any pharmaceuticals you are taking so I highly recommend you consult with your Doctor or Naturopath before taking this supplement.

'Made in Germany' usually indicates higher attention to quality due to more stringent EU regulations on production and quality control than some other countries, such as China. Quality comes with a price tag, and this is no exception. At least with this product from a European manufacturer, one is far more likely to be getting the 'real thing' than if it were produced in China and marketed by some small US company whose address is a house or apartment - a distressing trend I see on Amazon..
