Perfect fit
Worked perfectly. Two other suppliers that I ordered from have their RIGHT (passenger side) and LEFT (driver's side) parts mixed up, and even their packaging is mislabeled. The wheel that the cable wraps around is unique for left and right, so I ordered from this supplier because they supply BOTH left and right wheels.

Installed easy on my 2005 R52 Mini Cooper. I adjusted what I could, seems to have a little slack in it, but it works, has for a few weeks now. I purchased 2 of them to have a spare. Worth it considering how proud the manufacturer is of their parts.

Fixed my Mini's window!
This kit did the trick to fix the right rear quarter window in my 2007 Mini Cooper S convertible for a fraction of the cost of a new regulator. It works like a charm. It comes with two spools (one for use on left side, one for right side) so the kit can be used to fix either. Unfortunately, the spools are not labeled so be sure to compare it with existing spool before removal. My advice: take a couple pics of the remaining parts before disassembly.

Oe fit at a fraction of the cost
Once upon a time my mini r52 windows slowly retracted never to raise again. I looked into full replacement to be awed at the price of the unit alone researching prices to find a few kits out there that were of exponential cost compared to the one reviewed here. Now it is no small task to get the regulators out so just do both to save from removing interior twice. It takes five minutes to rebuild the unit but two hours to get to it. Removing old slide be sure to note orientation of the angled side. After reassembly I tested for function to find all was resolved and hooray for windows. Seriously hooray. I can now drive it on a day with the possibility of rain instead of putting extra miles on Baby Godzilla.
