Used this in making a replacement plug..
I ordered this to help me make a replacement plug in for my portable winch power and retraction button. My original plug had been left under a tire when it was last in use and when they pulled off rolled right over to braking the housing and terminals. So in searching for a replacement I found this product, along with way overpriced replacement cables (it would have been cheaper to go back to HF and pick up a new one over ordering a replacement cable and end. After I mocked up my model I was able to use this product to mold in place my new plug after it cured it was more sturdy and better constructed that the OEM plug end. I didn't use this in the conventional way to patch a hole or anything, but it works perfectly when you find your self in need of fixing, or in my case, creating a new replacement end due to neglance or just plane stupidity. My only complaint would be, there needs to be an affordable amount in a larger size, those who are handy DIYers or those who like to fix things....I hope this helps you in making your decision....

Used to seal a gap in door frame
Used this to seal a huge hole made in the door frame left by prior home owners. Needed a quick fix and not replace the whole door frame. It was easy to mold according to the instructions, kneaded it quite a bit and didn’t become completely white like the instruction said but still worked well. Very ease to use and shape into something I needed. Painted over after sanding a bit and looks great.

Works well
I used this product to fix a broken foot on my candle stick and you can’t even tell that it was ever broken. I was able to shape it just like the other foot and then paint it once it was dry. Definitely worth the money and now my candle stick looks good again, but is also stable now.

Putty works well and is good for minor repairs
Sometimes when there is earthquake and the foundation settles I noticed that the rods will have warped holes inside the fixture. In minor repairs like this I put putty inside and add gel superglue to the sides of the inside. Adding silicone or anything else just does not hold to concrete and plastic. The only gripe is the weird smell but it was not bad this time.

This product did not cure even after 24 hours.
I have purchased other Oatey products and was satisfied with them. This product was a disappointment. I followed the directions without deviation, but the product never cured completely. The outside was hard but the inside remained soft, even after allowing 24 hours to cure. I used up all the product, so there is nothing to return. I don't expect a refund, but you can be sure I will not be buying any more. I purchased some JB Weld and finished the project without any problems.
