Great for my small coop
The media could not be loaded. Update after a full year still works great after being left outside in the elements for a year. ...It's perfect for my need! Very easy to install just use the zip ties it comes with. My coop is 5ftx2.5ft when the sun is shining with out clouds the fans are high-power with clouds the fans run on low, it works great for my need in our small coop. When running full speed it blows feathers it does a great job cycling air. It only works when sun is out will not run at night so it's not like solar lights where energy is stored for night use. This is day time use only. I shared a picture of coop that has the sun panel on the roof, it's small looks good, so it doesn't need much space. I would not use in a space any bigger then this.

Works better than I expected
I needed some air circulation in a small goat house. This works just perfectly. I mounted the fans between 2 roof rafters, so they are inside, out of the weather, and have plenty of air to work properly. The fans are smaller than I had hoped, but when it's sunny out, they move the air nicely. They do make a hum, but the animals do not seem to be bothered. Also, of note, there is no battery to save a charge, to run at night. They only work when it is daylight (and speed is dependent upon amount of daylight), but that info is made available in the description area. I'm pleased with the product (and so are my dwarf goats!).

Great for cooling chicken coop
We cut an opening in our coop and installed this blowing out of the coop and into the run. It's helping keep the coop cool and creating a nice breeze in the run. We put the solar panel on the roof- there's a nice long cord! It only operates in sun. We ordered another that we are going to install lower in the run, and will attach it to the hardware cloth. Very simple to install! The fan is small- check measurements- but it works well.

Stopped working less than a year of use.
Easy to install and compact design. This fan is powered by included small solar panel only runs with sun shine. And speed will drop off in partial sun conditions. There is no battery in this set up to run the fans in the absence of sunlight.Brand new, the fans performed fine although, they did tend to make fairly loud noise. The fans stopped performing at about 9 months. The panel checked out okay. The switch was binding some compared to new. Replacement did not restore use of the fans.I'll recycle the panel for some hobby project but I would not recommend purchase of this item if planning on much use. Some of the description suggested application in coups or dog houses. While I can't say for certain the dust and dirt lead to yearly failure, I speculate that those applications will likely dramatically reduce the lifespan of the fans.

Not Powerful Enough
Unit works fine but it is sensitive to light. If the sun is not directly on the panel it does not work well. I have noticed that it does not push enough air for the smallish greenhouse I have. I would recommend this unit for a very snmall area only.Easy to install and no problems other than the power.

Sensitive solar panel, but effective!
Great product. The solar panel is very sensitive to shadows - even a small bit of shade from a leaf or finger slows the fans, and an overcast day practically shuts it down. But, in full sun, the fans put a lot of air through! We put this on our rabbit hutch to help cool the bunny. The package included several mounting tools, including zip ties and screws. And there’s a switch in the cord near the fans, so it can be turned off when it’s cooler out.Overall, it’s a great setup for the price!

Works
The media could not be loaded. I got this to put in our chicken run for a little relief from the summer heat. It is not high powered of course, but definitely enough to move the feather on my chickens. Some reviewers have said it stops working. If the happens, check for leaves, cobwebs ect. The smallest thing will block the blades from moving. Just keep it clean, or move the blades once with a small stick and it will immediately start working again. I’ve been using it for almost a month and it stopped maybe three times. All three times was a super quick fix. It has only rained once briefly, so I can’t say how well it stands up to water. Also, you have to remove flowers ect from the solar panel. Glad I purchased and I hope it will last all summer. My experience with solar powered stuff is that they don’t usually last very long, so we’ll see.

Weather got the best of this fan.
1 year update.Had two of this out on the roof for a year. The fan grill started to rust within a month and now it's very rusty. The fans are barely chugging along. In the full sun, I could barely feel the moving air.I bought this product along with another solution to compare and contrast before fully committing. The other product's fan is pretty strong still. That fan is based on a plastic grill so no rust to worry about.I'm ready to order a couple dozen more and am going with the other product.===========================================================I have solar panels installed on my flat roof. Obviously the panels get hot under the bright sun which reduces their efficiency.I have received these yesterday and promptly I installed 2 of these for one of the panel rows. 1 to push the fresh air into the space below the panels and 1 to pull the hot air out of the tunnel. So far it seems to be working. I could feel the hot air being pulled out. I'll be measuring the temperature difference between the air cooled and other non-treated panels. If these fans make difference in the solar panel efficiency, I'll be ordering at least 20 more of these.I'll be looking at the following parameters and update the review:1) weather proof: can they withstand the rain?2) UV proof: can the cable and parts withstand being exposed to UV all day long3) capacity: can they move enough air to make a significant impact4) longevity: how long can they last?
