This was a replacement for one that got left by a heater and melted. It works wonderful. Had it for over a year now

I have a Fujitsu mini split system in my newly built home and needed additional remotes. I looked for alternatives to the $100+ Fujitsu AR-REG1U remote but wanted to get just 1 and test it before buying more.6 months after buying the Choubenben remote, I decided to buy another as the first worked so well.You can compare the Fujitsu Remote in the photos (case open and case closed) to compare the buttons.

I never liked the fact the remotes that came with our Fujitsu AC units were not backlit. It was always so annoying in the middle of the night if I needed to adjust the temp… I used to have to turn on my table lamp or the flashlight on my phone just to see what I was doing.No longer with this remote! It lights up when you press a button, and it is the exact same remote as the one that came with the AC units, just that it has a green backlight. Worthwhile investment!The only thing that is different is that it beeps with every change you make. With the remotes that came with the AC units, you can sort of fast press and skip through the settings you don’t want, and it beeps once for the change you’ve made. With the backlit device, it beeps for every change you make. It’s also a tiny bit slower than the original. Neither of these things are deal breakers for me. Super happy with the backlight!

This product did not work well for us. While it will power on the unit and show settings/allow adjustments to settings, it does not make the unit do what it's supposed to, like turn on the A/C and blow properly! I can set it at 72 degrees and see something is happening, but the unit barely puts anything out. I have a 2nd remote (OEM) that is used for a unit in another part of the house. If I use it on the same unit, the unit functions properly. Not sure what exactly is wrong, but I'm giving up and buying the higher-priced OEM remote now so that we'll have a properly working remote. :-(

I just had a 10 year old Fujitsu system replaced and the new remote is so ridiculously small with a 1/2 inch screen I ordered this and works just like my old one .

works perfectly with my Fujitsu system. I like the addition of the screen having a green back light. Cost effective

This remote works great. We bought four of these and have found that the mini-split head units respond faster and from a wider angle then with the original remote. I only have one complaint, the picture shows a display that is the same size as the OEM Fujitsu remote but the actual size is about 20% smaller. The light-up display and improved response make it worth it.
