DRI DuckMen's Cheyenne Jacket

Just as good as a Carhartt equivalent.
Looks:I like the dark brown color (Tobacco) and the fit is perfect. I'm 6'1" 195 lbs and I could definitely wear a hoodie underneath without it getting too bulky. No defects at all, same triple stich as others. I like the small Dri-Duck logo on the left hand pocket.Warmness:With just an undershirt, flannel, and the jacket on, I'm comfortable at 40, maybe even 30 degrees F. The hood holds the heat in and is very functional and warm. It's a heavy jacket (4 or 5 lbs) and with the canvas shell and quilted lining, you don't need much else on underneath to stay warm while being active. Being stationary and outside in this jacket may get you feeling a little chilly so add a layer.

It looks well-built.
Just came in today, at the early end of the delivery dates listed. Nice. Packaged well enough, a bag inside a bag. The following is after just a quick try-on.Seems like a nice durable material, this canvas-like "Duck" stuff. But nicely soft. Sizing is just about perfect for my XLT body. (Thank you for having my size!) Just enough room inside for a sweater or a hoodie. Cuffs are good, riding to half-way between wrist and thumb. Inside pocket wide and deep for your smartphone. About 7in x 8in. You could almost get a tablet in there. Hood seems comfy. Will see what today's light rain does when i go to lunch. Metal zipper seems like a good quality. Based on wearing it at my desk a few minutes, its warm enough. So far, seems all good.Outside pockets are not insulated, but mine usually just hold items and 'stuff', and are not used for warming much, so not really an issue to me. (If it's that cold, I wear gloves.)Good casual or warehouse jacket.Added note/pic, a few days later:It has TWO inside pockets. The one mentioned above is almost big enough for my tablet. Might fit. Didnt try it... yet?Duck canvas is soft, but was slightly stiff when received, is beginning to relax with just a few days wear, 2 -3 hours total. Wasn't enough rain left the other day to comment on that aspect.

Perfect for winter
Awesome coat. Large Velcro pockets on both sides inside, the lining in the arms have the slicker material instead of fleece so your sleeves don't get stuck. Hood is large enough to keep the rain off your glasses. Warm and doesn't make the swish noise! Overall great and well thought through.

Great jacket but a little short
Very warm and durable I’m 5’10” and 145 and the jacket fits well but is a little short and I find myself having to pull it back down since it will ride up my lower back. I’ve used it in the snow and it kept me warm and the snow didn’t soak through.

Very Nice Jacket For Being Outdoors
Nice jacket. It is warm and well made. On par with Carhartt, but less expensive in terms of the customer paying $$. I am 6'0 and weigh 170. The colors are true to what is shown on Amazon. I bought the Tobacco color jacket. The size I purchased is medium. So purchase your size according to height and weight. The sizes run true. If you want a jacket that is more form fitting, buy a size smaller. The medium on me allows me to wear an undershirt and lumberjack shirt and perhaps a sweater or sweat shirt (If it is not a bulky sweat shirt/sweater) to be worn under the jacket.

Love this Jacket
This jacket is great. Completely blocks the wind and rain. The full hood offers great coverage of head and neck. Well worth the money and really well made. May buy another color.

Amazing. Comfy. Keeps you dry and warm.
I absolutely love it. Buy a size up because they run a little small. Im a 5'7" woman who is 220 and I got myself an XL and its comfortable. But I also bought the same size for my brother who is 6'2" and 200 lbs and it fits him fine.

Very nice warm coat
First off, this jacket is warm like really warm, and has some really nice weight to it. I have another winter coat that is made of lightweight ultra modern materials and this coat is way warmer which is what I wanted. It feels very durable and after getting covered in snow I can say is very waterproof as well. I got a size larger than I needed which is great because I can layer easier now and the coat is still very comfortable and still has good mobility. The only things I don't like are first the hood, it doesn't seem to sit very well on the back and when I'm in the car it always seems to be pushing up on the back of my neck and head, hoping it will soften up over time and lay a little flatter. It does work very well as a hood though it snugly covers my head, and the wind doesn't blow it down easy. I also wish the front pockets were a little bigger to better accommodate a hat and gloves when needed. Overall though I'm really liking this jacket so far. I live in northern Illinois and spent a lot of time in Wisconsin so it's just what I was looking for in the winter months, and you can't beat the price for what you're getting.Update: the zipper is pretty bad, I've got teeth out of alignment in the first year making the coat very frustrating to zip up and unfortunately unless you purchased the coat directly from DRI Duck they do not care and will not repair the zipper.
