It has a unique scent that some may not like. I do though. And I like how it makes my scalp feel extra clean and my hair soft. If you have a sensitive scalp, be mindful of how often you use it. It can make me itchy if used too much. Find your balance ^-^

I totally dismissed this product at first because when I hear "detox" I think "scam". How is a product going to "detox" my hair yet "seal in color" (pigment is foreign to hair). But when I read the reviews mentioning shine and body, I decided to give it a try.Does it "detox" your hair? I don't know and I don't care. What I do know is that after using it my hair felt so much fuller, and had movement. After the first application! The consistency is really nice, it feels like a very heavy oil/gel without being oily, but good at coating hair. I wash my hair 2-3x a week and I usually use this every wash now, and it keeps my hair flowing nicely between.No, it doesn't smell like mushrooms 🙂

Smells good. Thats the most important. But…I have thinning hair and this helped with its lack of luster and thinning spots. I put it on once a week let it sit for a few minutes then continue my routine. Wala! Love it

It really makes your hair feel and look great

I’ve used this cleansing rinse for a couple years now and I absolutely love it. It leaves my scalp feeling renewed and my hair feeling very soft. The smell is lovely too. Would highly recommend!

I used Function of Beauty shampoo for a month and it left a film on my hair. My hair stylist sent me home with this product and I've loved it ever since. It smells soo good, gets my hair squeaky clean and is hydrating at the same time! Highly highly recommended.
