After smashing the screen when I dropped my iPhone X, I was looking for something a bit more protective than a simple soft plastic cover. This is definitely more rugged, although still light and fairly slim - fitting in my shorts and jacket pockets. It offers protection to the camera and the auto silent switch (which I have switched off inadvertently before), while the power and volume batteries are completely covered, with no impact on their effectiveness. It fits snugly, and there's a slight ridge so that you can also place the phone face down without the screen screen touching the surface. There is no screen protector, so I have bought that separately. The clip-out stand on the back is a little bit fiddly, and feels more "plasticky", but has provide useful just to stand the phone up when looking at a photo, video or other display. Definitely would recommend.
