Another great product from the mellisa and doug range; blues clues water activity mat. It comes well packaged in a colourful cardboard box. You get the mat, 2 water pens and a roller and pad. Once unfolded, the mat is of a good size 20 inches x 30 inches. It is printed well and really brightly coloured. Comes with 2 pens so perfect for more than one child to be able to use at once. Pens are easy to use, simply fill with water and use straight on the mat, it's that easy. Non toxic, no ink or paint, no messy hands getting everywhere. Leave to let dry and your mat is clear and ready to be used again. Colour over, do dot to dot and reveal your picture of blue. Easy to fold back up and store for another day, pop the pens and roller in the attatched storage pouch and fold up and fasten over the velcro tab, it has it's own carry handles. Keeps children busy, stimulating the imagination. Perfect for fun aswell as developing cognitive and creative skills. Great quality thick mat to be used over and over again.

My toddler loves blues clues! So this is perfect.The mat comes in a lovely carry case which is built into the matt. This is great for travelling and visiting friends and family.The mat is 30cmX40cm so a good size!You get 2 pens and a stamp roller.The lens are super easy to use you just fill up with water and go! They screw back up nice and securely to avoid spillage.There’s so much to do on the matt scenes fromThe tv show, characters and numbers.It’s lit and colourful. It doesn’t take long to dry!My only little negative is there’s nots a lot of blank space for free style drawing. Not that my toddler minds.

My little girl loves blues clues so I thought this would be ideal for her. First impressions were good, it comes in a larger box than I was expecting so it’s a good size if you want to wrap a bigger present to give as a gift. Inside is the mat, two pens a roller and a little tray/pad for the roller. If you don’t know what these mats do, in short they appear to have no colour but when you add water to them (via the roller or water filled pens) the correct colours appear. Once the water has dried the colours fade to clear again ready to be used again.The mat folds up into a little carry bag with a section to store the pens etc in which is handy. With that in mind we aim to take it out with us to keep her occupied at family or friends houses as it takes her quite a while to colour in and is mess free.Age wise it says 3+ but in my opinion it could be used for younger children under supervision as there’s not much to it and it’s just got water in the pens so can’t make any lasting damage!Overall we’re pleased with this so would happily recommend.

So this is a play on the magic colouring books that you get when you simply put water in the included pens and then as you use the included pens the image comes to life. The reason why this is a bit more engaging is due to the size and the fact it is also portable as it essentially turns into a small bag when you fold it up. He is of course completely safe to be used anyway as there is no actual colours or ink when it dries out it is ready to be recoloured again.
